Queuing against bots | Forums

Me and my friend are group together and been in queued for elimination for more than 10 minutes in both pvp and Vs bots. Can we get 2 bots in our team so we can get into a game and play? And if other players queues they will take the place of the bots! At least after maybe 2 mins of search?

I agree here. Having to wait an eternity to find a session of players for PVE is outrageous. After 2 minutes it should just put you in a fresh session with bots as allies and allow people to join and fill slots later as they try to queue up.

um....yes, when you go in to fight bots you can press square for parameters and turn off so that you fight with bot allies against bots. but dunno i fyou can do the same in pvp

This is a bogus feature. Doing so cuts your experience in half. Literally half. Like, if you complete a PVE elimination match with 380 base xp with matchmaking turned on, you'll only get 140 xp for matchmaking turned off. The point of this thread is more about cutting through the completely unnecessary extensive wait to queue up and play PVE with other players, sometimes a horrible experience that can take 10-30mins to complete. Like, just the other night I literally had time to initiate matchmaking, walk away, take a sh*t, wash my hands for a full 30secs, mix a glass of rum and coke, and come back and STILL not have found a match to "join". The OP and myself are suggesting that, if after two minutes the game hasn't found a match for you to fill the 4 slots with players, that it just start you into your own fresh session with bot slots that can be replaced by players later in the match as other people are trying to find a match.

Unfortunately players will run into more matchmaking issues with elimination + skirmish over more popular game modes purely due to the fact that they are less popular. We know that this can cause problems and will do our best to address it.
