I know ubi is wondering what to give or change on orochi and after a few ranked I have some ideas
- So whats the point of deflect PK can bleed Shinobi can bleed Berserk gets a free GB all I get is lil dmg really I practice and practice for that at least give it a lil bleed make the player want to go for it not rely on parry for dmg worth doing.
- Whats the deal with Rip Tide strike unless you luck up and they don't have super lunge (yeah thats you Cent) its pointless. The RIP part is right, can it be fainted no super armor no can we get one of those 2 either one is fine both are to much just one will do.
- I am aware his light and heavies are slower as compared to other heroes could we put him on par with others Cent Glad Berserk at least those guys my light chain is a Fing joke as compared to Glad and Cent
Ima stop ya right there. I fought an Orochi in the ranked duel, and got my butt kicked. I'm am moderate player with Warden, i can handle most any character save for shield and flail character, and the shinobi. The orochi i can normally handle without to much difficulty, but i played a guy who just smoked me, moved and dodged, attacked retreated, was an amazing character and player. So dont' think anything needs to be changed, the character played perfectly and exactly how iv'e played in the past, only much much better, and responded obviously, to the guys commands in time to dodge everything.
All I'm asking for is my dodge not to be followed by 75% of the attacks. I think I'm running into lag issues more than anything else. I also heard the weaker connection had the better advantageOriginally Posted by okamibanshu21 Go to original post
Thanks for the feedback! We are still working on hero balance and Orochi is one of the heroes we realize needs some tweaking.
I'll pass along your feedback and suggestions for his Rip Tide Strike, his speed issues, and deflect to the team as they work on the coming balance changes!
His mobility is awesome. But for banking on dodge with no opening or good guard breaks that don't cost half my stamina bar. Has the idea been thought of for the "reflex" classes to have an unblockable light/heavy attack from defense reset(Non directional attack). Light attack doing no damage but a small debuff(stamina hit, knock back, interupt) and Heavy being a very predictable attack that if you get caught getting hit with it. You deserved it. I'm not talking about his heavy of the deflect I mean the wind gust the faster yet weaker one PK can cancel any heavy into a bleed plus she can feat stack so one lounge with a light applies bleed and with feat stack boom your dead not saying she is broken but she is a force with her arsenal. and you said it IF THEY DON'T DODGE which most exp players do once they learn he has hyper armor on it.
The hurricane blast is a pretty good option. The ONLY time it did not connect, was when I dueled my brother, who was playing a Warden at the time. I deflected a side light to hurricane blast and was interrupted by his shoulder bash just moments before it connected. We were both like: "OOOOH", because stuff like that rarely happens ^^
