DLC 8/29 "Variety Song Pack XI"

Tomorrow, Rocksmith will release four songs from four different genres. The songs are:

Bombay Bicycle Club - Your Eyes
Escape The Fate - This War Is Ours
George Strait - All My Ex's Live In Texas
The Flaming Lips - She Don't Use Jelly

I'm pleasantly surprised by the other three songs... After the George Strait puzzle and reveal last Friday, I thought this was going to be a bust for me.

Never heard of Escape the Fate but I'm really digging their song. Has an All that Remains - Six vibe to it.

    BBC really cool mellow song.

Flaming Lips was the big surprise but love it.

That right there has to be the most eclectic group of songs in any variety pack. It certainly puts the "Variety" into the Variety Pack to say the least.

Bombay Bicycle Club is from Australia, so it fits the last clue for the month.

And apparently Bombay has had 16 singles in the top-100 somewhere in the World...

And 'Your Eyes' isn't one of the 16.

Bombay Bicycle Club are an English indie rock band from Crouch End, London

but yeah, it's an odd choice considering their numerous singles

Well, I've at least heard of The Flaming Lips from somewhere, but the rest... no clue! Don't know any of the songs as far as I know. Added them to a playlist to learn more.
