    Highlander - Unable to punish

The cent is unable to benefit from the still in place defensive meta. When he lands a parry he is unable to guard break, because if you guard break after a parry and it does not give you the forward jump you are vulnerable to a guard break. If he lands a guard break literally nothing he has is free from a guard break, even a light attack. You cant beta test the defensive meta nerf on a single class.

While it does seem he's been designed with the yet to come defense changes, some of that's not quite correct.

If you wait a fraction of a second after parrying before pressing GB, it's still guaranteed and gains the forward slide.

When you do land a GB a light attack is guaranteed, as is the first hit of a zone attack.

I can easily parry a highlander zone attack, so that is 100% false. Even if you land a guard break it doesnt get you any damage unless you throw them into something. If you try and guard break and attack you are likely to be parried or just blocked directly. There is no benefit to playing the defensive meta. I parry an orochi, do a light attack which he dodges, then he guard breaks me, gets a heavy attack in while I am staggered. Where is the balance?

I try a light attack after a guard break every time for good measure, and its hit like once every 20 times. Any light or medium class has a 100% chance of being able to dodge out of it, and heavier classes still have a chance to block it if they get the timing right. I CANNOT PUNISH AT ALL.

    He is right - entirely.
Seems you mistime things if you even cannot land a light reliably
