It should be possible to exclude the players you just played in the opponent search no? "Find new opponent" just puts you in the queue again the way it is now. The other player/team does the same thing at the same time and you get the same players...

This is definitely a problem! I played the same guy like 7 times last night. Fights got so boring that I started choosing random characters.

This is happening way to often right now. "Find new opponent" is basically a broken feature if it just puts you in the queue again. Change the name to "Requeue".

OTHER IMPROVEMENTS

Matchmaking

[Adjustment] Players who re-enter matchmaking within 5 minutes after finding a match will no longer be match make with the same players, this applied to 1v1, 2v2 & 4v4). This also fixes the “Find New Opponent” feature in Duels.
Note that canceling a match making request will reset that list of temporary “blacklisted” players.
