I hope this conversation brings to light a huge flaw in their rewards system. I honestly feel that this was an oversight, being as they're creating a new A+ title for console users... But I hope they read this in knowing that their devoted fan-base is being screwed over by their oversight. Whatever the meta, it needs to changed to allow ANYONE to acquire tracks as a whole and not have to wait for pieces..

I've been accused of being an ***-kiss before, due to my naive comments, but I still have faith in RedLynx. No I'm not affiliated or have any personal gain by defending their honor, I just feel this is one of the Ubi minions that has the most integrity.

It sucks that you have to go through this BS to get the tracks and improve your score. The track packs are set at ridiculously high prices when available and you usually have to spend some kind of real money to get them before they vanish from the store. All tracks should be available to purchase for $0.99ea or something very reasonable instead of angering thousands or hundreds of thousands/millions of players who did not play from the start. I can't not play this game...I'm addicted...it's the only game I play and I know that if I take a break then I might miss something and not be able to get it for 2 years. They got me by the short and curly's....

The cost of being a newcomer... fortunate for me, I've been playing long enough to have acquired 99% of the tracks in game, but I agree, track packs should be acquirable in game for a reasonable gem price.
Gems can be obtained without purchase through tapjoy, when it's working... other than that, there are bunker options and daily videos.
The issue this post is bringing to light is the fact that Map Pieces earned in events negate the reward for entire map purchases and rewards. It seems people that have earned map pieces several months ago are not eligible to receive the entire map, due to the fact that they have at least 1/10 map pieces.

It is my belief that this was an oversight and something will be done in the next.... 4 months... to rectify this situation.
Hopefully sooner, but I'm a realist.

Don't remember correctly but 1 of these was a 1% reward in the event which I didn't get(maybe)

I wasn't able to play much at the time Plant Food and Peaceful Plummel were available and after all my 1% MC finishes, I still only have 8 and 5 outta 10 pieces. I do remember a similar event though where we could win track pieces, and after the event was over we were allowed to buy the remaining track pieces for 10 gems apiece.

At the very least, please do that for all tracks that come in pieces.

What you can remember was the very first event of that kind. I also could and did buy the missing parts right after the competition had ended.
I guess at that point they thought taking away the buying option would be more lucrative for them. It is certainly not a bug as our Beloved Captain once answered me in a thread.

They simply don't want to release them for some mysterious reason.

My guess is that they hope the longer they keep us waiting, the more frustrated we get and in the meantime buy at least something for real money now and then to have some kind of progress.

I just can't understand how they don't realize that's the fastest way lose players. But I suppose that money comes first for them, and even one or two buys by a lot of us... well, you can do the math. It's the same as with the six weeks of illegit ads we had to go through.

I own 8/10 pieces for Peaceful Pummel. Yesterday I've returned to the bunker once again and was shocked to see the full track as prize for ranking 5th. You can imagine I was pretty shocked to see this happening

Bacause of that, I've quickly climbed to 6th rank, hoping to reach 5 tomorrow. I'll make screenies for sure, just in case something goes wrong when handing out awards...

Anyone else able to win a full track, where parts are already owned?

I've never seen them available as a price or to buy. To be honest, if I did I would have bought them for gems.

But it wouldn't make any sense to offer whole tracks to people who have the pieces without giving them the possibility to get the missing pieces.

Funny thing is that not making the pieces available was not a bug, from what our Beloved Captain told me.
