The highlander cannot secure even a light attack after a successful guard break. The only benefit for a guard break in the current build of the game is to throw them into an environmental death. On top of that with the guard break bug securing this guard break is near impossible, but if you manage it you might as well let it time out as you are likely to take a parry into a heavy attack on yourself if you follow it up with even a light attack.
