The Hussar - New Knight Hero Concept V2

    Type: Vanguard
    Difficulty: Medium
    Characteristics: Adaptable, Straightforward
Lore: Deeds are nothing without prestige. They have prestige beyond measure, prestige which inspires their allies and strikes fear into their enemies. Their conviction knows no bounds; when they die for a cause, countless adversaries go with them. Should you hear a harrowing whistle in the distance, pray that you are on the right side of the fight, for the Hussars have arrived.
General: The Hussar, based off the Winged Hussars of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, would be a medium health character with a high amount of stamina who wields a sabre that deals moderate damage. He would be on the slower side of heroes in regards to movement speed but would by no means be the slowest. The Hussar would also have an average attack speed.
    Hero Specific:
Renown - Earn more Renown in outnumbered fights, by controlling objectives, and by killing enemy soldiers to unlock your feats in a match.
Revenge Mode - Boosts damage and health. All attacks are uninterruptible. Parry and throws knock enemies down. Attacks are auto-parried on activation.
Renowned Warrior - Faster renown gain.
Glorious Offensive - A charged heavy attack can be used to finish any chain with an unblockable attack.
Stupefy - A missed Cavalier’s Charge can be followed up with a fast light attack.
Improved Charge - If in Cavalier’s Rush, Cavalier’s Charge becomes unblockable.
Charged Heavy Cancel - The heavy attack charging animation can be soft feinted into a Stamp.
Light Attack Combo - Second top light attack is guaranteed if first one hits.
    Moveset (PS4 Controls):
    Charged Heavy - Hold/Release R2.
    Winged Advance - R1, R1, R2
    Winged Assault - R1, R2
    Winged Wrath - R2, R2
Zone Attack - The Hussar does preforms three horizontal swipes with his saber. The second and third hits may be feinted.
Cavalier’s Charge - While sprinting, press R2 to do a large chop that deals heavy damage.
Cavalier’s Rush - Click L3 to toggle increase sprinting speed at the cost of stamina.
Bash - Press square after a successful heavy or Cavalier’s Charge to perform a short range unblockable punch with the other hand that knocks back and stuns the enemy but deals no damage. May not be charged. Guarantees a light attack.
Stamp - Press square while moving backwards to perform a moderately-slow short range unblockable kick to the shins that, if it lands, deals no damage but knocks the target to their knees, guaranteeing a heavy.
    Feats:
Tier I - Body Count, Conqueror, Come At Me
Tier II - Inspire, Fiat Lux, Thick Blood
Tier III - Second Wind, Pugno Mortis, Horse-powered (Provides a small bonus to movement speed for the rest of the game)
Tier IV - Morale Booster, Catapult, Steed Charge (A feat that summons a horse that charges in a straight line, knocking down and dealing a moderate amount of damage to enemies as well as killing all soldiers in its path)
    Quotes:
Upon attacking with Improved Charge - Do zwycięstwa! (to victory)
Upon use of an unblockable charged heavy through Glorious Offensive - Dla chwały! (for glory)
Upon use of Bash - Weź to!! (take it)
Upon use of Stamp - Będziesz cierpieć (you will suffer)

This is pretty well thought out so far! Any ideas for what feats you think would be well-suited for him?

After a long time, I have finally added feats. I additionally made a few things more clear. Also made him a hybrid as, the more he developed, the less he was identifiable as a vanguard.

    EDIT: Just added quotes.

    EDIT 2: Added some background.

The hussard is not a character from the time period we consider this game inspired from. This game is inspired by late antiquity up to the beginning of the renaissance, yet the hussar (witch is only a mounted unit by the way) appeared in the 17th century, so WAY more recently than the other characters, he is not belonging to this world

No offense, but that argument is bull. For Honor is based on a time period which lasted from the 9th century to the 15th century. The Viking Age lasted from 800 AD to 1066 AD. Knights started popping up around 1066 and began to fall out of favor around the mid 15th Century. Lastly, the Age of the Samurai lasted from 1085 to 1868, however, the samurai in For Honor are clearly inspired from historical samurai from the first half of that period. Additionally, For Honor is inspired by this time period in our world. That's it, inspired. The world of For Honor is not our world, by any means. Therefore, the devs do not need to follow that time period exactly. Hell, you have vikings fighting samurai fighting knights, something never happened and never would under any alternate history circumstances in our world. And, to drive my point home even further, you have Romans. By your logic, Centurion and Gladiator should not exist, yet they do.

To acknowledge your mounted units argument, I know that. If you remember (if you read it at all, that is), I implemented quite a few ideas regarding this fact, such as the Horse-powered and Steed Charge feats as well as the Cavalier's Charge/Rush abilities which are all attempts to show the mounted nature of the winged hussars.

    I had noticed two things:
    1) he lacked any real options to do well in 1v1
    2) He was extremely similar to Centurion
Thus, I have made a pretty big update, providing him with quite a bit more options, a more unique identity, and better 1v1 performance.
