rage quitting leading to game lagging out

I've had this happen to me a countless number of times and its extremely frustrating. so i'll be playing a game of dominion the other team is breaking and about to lose when of course they get mad and rage quit causing the whole game to lag out which makes me get kicked losing all of the xp i would've got that game. One thing i would like to see ubisoft do is have another penalty for people who rage quit at the end of the game. they should do the penalty like Overwatch did, if you rage quit you don't xp for a couple of games. since xp in this game is so important it might give people a reason to stop being such babies and just finish the game. I'm not proposing this because i got mad one time for being kicked. people rage quit literally every single game whether it's one player or the whole team.

That would be typical UBIsoft practice. Punish players for doing something that has been going on since gaming began, instead of fixing the bug that is triggered from said people doing something that has been going on since gaming began. Also how would you plan to tell if players actually rage quit instead of just actually DC.

Unless you programmed an advanced AI to detect human behavior, monitor the user's IP address and other devices, and had a microphone literally in their console/PC you cannot tell if it was an intentional disconnect or a legitimate quit. All you can do is punish people with the 10 minute matchmaking lockout if they go through the menu to leave the match.
