The fact that you even said this shows you know absolutely nothing about this game. the only people who say the centurion isn't OP are people who play as him and are scared ubisoft is going to take away an easy way for people to be "good" at the game. the gladiator is one of the most balanced characters ubisoft has managed to put out. all of his attacks can be very easily dodged, the skewer is by far the easiest move to parry in the game. compared to a centurion player who can guard break you once, get a free punch, knock you down and get a free stomp that takes almost half of your health in one move. plus no character can stun you as long as the centurion can. the punch isn't necessary at all when he has a kick. practice more against gladiators. once you get the timing down they aren't very hard
i have an interesant ideea. how about we refrain from comment like this. because as oposed to glad, cent doesnt have an instant spammable attack like the trydent stab into the foot, and I can dodge allmost every move on cent dont meet do. I think I do know stuff about this game and assuming otherwise is just wrong. telling me thatOriginally Posted by sweg_master_G Go to original postshows me how much you know about the game since you do t know that the easiest move to parry in the game is every highlander move in the game...the skewer is by far the easiest move to parry in the game
I have to agree with sweg_master_G on this one.
I have never felt cheated into death when fighting a gladiator, which can certainly not be said about the centurion... The timing on the scewer is a bit odd, because it connects later than you would expect, similar to the jab of the centurion. So parrying it is a little hard for me and I don't get it very often to be honest.. on either of the two, cent or glad...
The difference is:
If I mess up the parry on the gladiator, I lose a bit of health and the fight continues.
If I mess up the parry on the cent, I'm dead.
I love fighting against gladiators. It is one of the most balanced class in the game so far in my opinion.
