Gladiator Skewer Revenge - Inconsistent against revenge | Forums

So I've been noticing that Glads skewer move sometimes will completely effect someone in revenge, other times it won't. When I was playing my LB, I got revenge and a Glad used his skewer. It connected to me and it did damage, and kept me in place. Few games later I was playing glad, someone got revenge and I used the Skewer move. It bounced straight off and I couldn't land it, or appear to deal damage.
Is this because of hyper armour on certain moves that I may have just missed seeing?

Immunity to meele attacks on revenge startup. Sounds to me that you were hit with the skewer when that immunity effect had worn off.
