For honor's biggest gameplay problem!

Since I've heard that guardbrake won't be guaranteed in the future of the game (wich is a very good improvement) i wont touch this subject. But:
The biggest problem that this game has is parry. no matter what you'll say, at the moment I this game the first hit or oppener is unsafe because parry. the second hit is unsafe because parry. you cant make use of the full arsenal or combos because of ... parry. no matter what happens in this game, the unrealistic damned parry I trerupts everithing. and relying 100%on faci this it's stamina useless consumption because the next hit after the faint is all so... parriable. we are left with a game that only uses safe moves, encourage turtles, and defensive meta.

after so many months of playing this game, the only way I see this getting fixed is:

Make it so that within a combo/chain (a move that's not I trerupts mid way by a faint) only the first hit to be possible to parry.
Exception to this being of course UNBLOCKABLE moves because they can't be stopped otherwise, reflects, because that's an assassin trait and because of their speed it makes sense, and warden and highlander crushing counters, those moves all so being specific to those characters.

This way:
•faints still have they lace in the beginning of a chain as a TRUE OPPENER and as a mid chain mind trick
•parry is still a good defence mechanism at the start of the chain or in case of a fainth mid chain
•superior block is automatically getting a boost since parry won't be the main gameplay mechanic in this game
•parry will be much more important as it dictates the faith of a match rather than winn the match.
•attacking will be encouraged all g side with the cip damage change
•roll away still remains a tool to get out of a fight in case you don't want or can't take chip damage
•we will see much more dynamic fights based on offensive not defensive (since the fact that the second 3rd 4th and so on hit won't pe parriable but only blockable)
•crushing counter, deflects, and superiour block would have much more since
•(and even tho "no one cares about realism" in this game, it seems much more logical to only parry the first hit since on the second and so on hits you're just trying to stand your ground and defend)
•(if this change seems to extreme, you can add to the list of exception that if the second hit or third or etc... comes from the same direction as the previous hit, the hit IS PARRIABLE)

Eeeeeh, I don't think they should change too much too fast. The no free GB after parry will have interesting consequences on imbalanced parry punish between classes I'm sure, so one step at a time.

I know you said you are a Pc player, but how would these parry changes affect console? Console is basically a complete different game, and there is no defensive meta. So how would these changes affect PC and console differently?

the change won't be to gas. I mean I find it super unballanced that... see someone hit... parry. missed the parry, parry next time. missed again? no problem you have another chance. falled down? get up into an instant parry possibility. got stunned, parry. parry parry parry. you see where this is going. and we all know it's true.

second. yes I'm a pc llayer. but think about it. it won't affect console to much. you can still parry the first hit and ppl are already doing it. I k now it's harder on console. but this way, the light on heavy and heavy on light punish would make more sense than now. right? or am I wrong?

This is a terrible idea...

Every character that has decent combos staring from a light attack would be at an immediate advantage.
Also feinting mid-combo? Utterly useless.

And YES it would have a huge impact on consoles, probably to the point where it would be unplayable.

So what would happen with Gladiator? He has a chain of 4 lights. You miss parry the first, and you have to defend against 3 more. The changes to console would be huge. This favours so many heros over others, as mentioned above, and heros with a faster attack speed will be technically buffed. A Lawbringer shoves, does a heavy that you only manage to block, the next heavy is unblockable and you can't parry it. So on and so forth.
