HL's OF lights aren't exactly a slouch either. OF top light @ 500ms, and (if FHDV records are correct) OF side lights @ 400ms, which is the fastest single attack in the game, tied with the notorious PK ZA -- except, unlike the PK's ZA which only comes out from a designated direction, the HL's OF side lights can be either left or right. Not many people in the WORLD can parry these reliably, much less even block it when you mix it up.

So it basically comes down to a timing and management. It's not a one-sided loss to the HL when it comes to speedy attacks in OF.

Offensive mode is only useful in a 2v1 to turn you into a disabler and to make it harder to just ignore your attacks.
Against an assassin we have literally nothing. Peacekeepers and berzerkers are running through us.

Any class that can spam light attacks while switching directions and feinting and being close enough to just guard break when you try and parry can just steamroll us.[/QUOTE]

Highly anecdotal, IMO. It may be your experience, but it certainly is not mine. Everything comes down to just at which point of the fight you revert into OF and how you manage it from there.

The offensive lights use a tad bit much stamina to be viable. Sure, they are fast, but for 10 dmg, I don't know if it's really worth it.
