I just went on farming LZ & DZ Named NPCs again after this post. I've dropped a Classified Lone Star Mask from a LZ Named NPC out of 15+ Named NPCs. I then went on to the DZ for hours and killed 50+ Named NPCs. I dropped 5 Exotics and 0 Classified Gear. It was literally raining Exotics at some point. There is definitely something wrong with the Exotic drop rates and even more with the Classified Gear drop rates.Originally Posted by FlyingD73_NL Go to original post
Edit: Just dropped a Classified Lone Star Glove from a LZ Named NPC, and it was the last piece that I was missing. The only Classified drops I've seen out of killing hundreds of Named NPCs in the LZ & DZ are from the LZ.

I got the 3 masks just to give some idea of how much time I spent & the effort I put in but I didn't get the classified gear that I needed & I say needed not wanted because I play this game every day & I'm bored. I couldn't spend as much time as I would have liked on the global event & now I am restricted to only killing bosses in the dark zone & light zone to try for that 3 percent chance to get not just classified lone star to drop it also has to be the gloves & this takes my chance pretty much down to zero. It is all I have been doing all day & night since the global event finished & it is not dropping any classified gear. I am now after 4 days giving up because i'm really bored now. my bad for having to go to hospital I 'spose.

just wanted to add that I hate dead eye, I've tried it every patch & I still hate it. final measure cannot compete with the lone star ...it just cant, & it has always been situational anyway. I am one of the few players I've seen that actually used lone star before the classified gear in1.6. I think it would be a better idea to be able to get classified gear from exotic caches, I usually run the legendary missions & incursions every week across 4 characters but I have no reason to play this game now until the next global event, i'm disappointed that all I can do to even try & get the classified I need is to farm these bosses at a 3 percent chance, i'm not even counting the 1 percent cache chance as a remote possibility. I have 20 of everything but not 1 lot of gloves & I think i'm done. am I correct in thinking that I have to wait another 4 months now until the cleaner event thing comes up again to get the lone star gloves?

ive had the same problem, I need the lone star gloves & I've seen other players needing them too. I haven't had any classified gear either from the dz at all in about 60 hours of play since the event finished. I have had about 6 exotics but i'm not interested in them, i'm sooooo bored that I thought I would leave some comments & then go play something else will 1.8 or till they change it or till I might stand a fair chance of realistically getting what I need. thanks game thanks a lot, I got screwed out of getting my pts invite & now i'm getting screwed again.

i feel like I've been sucker punched, the barretts vest saga put me off running lexington event centre forever, i hate & detest that mission now & won't run it & now i'm starting to feel the same way about the bosses on the map, ran the light zone bosses across my characters today & got 2 teal drops....that's right 2!!!! of course they wasn't classified gear. every part of me wants to snap this game into pieces & never look back.

how right you are & well said regular players will quit if this game doesn't start giving me the gear I need to keep me remotely interested, all I'm getting is old junk & yet another day farming bosses for 0 classified. I've noticed that the drop rate is good the first few days of a new patch & then dries up completely. I am on the brink of quitting & I know I wont be coming back. what are my choices ? wait 4 months to get a chance at getting the classified gear I want or just bore myself stupid almost to tears farming the same bosses over & over & over while all my mates are rocking their new 6 pieces of gear. thanks a lot.
