Got a few classified pieces in the DZ last night, just from bosses i guess, didnt realize i even had them since they thought it brilliant to leave the new gear the same color. I actually had 3 pieces marked for trash before i noticed it and started paying attention. Glad i noticed as a random we picked up getting slaughtered at an extraction was obviously pretty new to the game and having a hard time so i gave them to him and hopefully it helped his build, no mic but he at least joined the chat so he could hear us talking to him and knew i was dropping them for him.

The biggest thing that bother me is the fact, that you're not able to dropp CE from Bosses in the UG. Only out of caches. They said the CE are added to the normal Lootpool but i you listen carful in the SotG they said only LZ/DZ-Named Bosses dropping CE. So Underground getting worthless again. Hopefully they gonna fix the issue.

Ran with two Classy LoneStar players who were kissing pavement on several occasions. When they were upright, the only thing that was worth noting was the way the beserker animation looked. Nothing special, just different. Don't beat yourself up over the drop rates.

20% increased damage + 20% increased RPM .. is certainly a lot more than a cool looking animation lol plus unlike Tac Link there is no time limit you just have to remain in combat... also, Berzerker proc's without even having to shoot - your teammates can proc it for you (clearly this is broken but for now it's a lot of fun to take advantage of). You can also preload berzerker by hip firing your weapon into thin air as well so essentially having it up for every npc that tries to rush you (thinking more Legendary missions here).

Run this set with dual Lightweight M4's and it's hilariously good to clear out the DZ with.

Last but not least, run this combined with a 6pc Final measure and you have another 20% damage bonus all the time in PVE. It really is a fun set to kill npc's with. I hope everyone who wants it gets a chance to try it out.

I don't mind classified atm except for maybe FM, but that will change after sentry, striker, tact, rec, and firecrest all land in. I certainly don't want it to rain, because we are then left with nothing to look for...but 3%/1% is maybe a bit too extreme if you consider in the long run you will want to upgrade all your builds to 6-pieces and/or hybrid classifed/ninja-backpack.
On a related note, I wonder if the dev team could level the stats (STA,FA,ELE) of the HE/named gear (excluding HE/named weapons) to the same level of what the classified sets offer (maybe name it Classified HE/Exotic)? My current exotic build will be subpar to all of what classified offers...

Did massive simply give us instead of 3% and 1% drop chances 0,03% and 0,01% drop chances? I was expecting them to be rare, but not to be even more rare than Exotics. Everyone that got a Classified Gear to drop can consider themself extremely lucky at this point. It's absolutely ridiculous how I can't get a single piece to drop after so many tries. GG Massive

So, playing at the Global Events is a must if you want to get your hands on any 6 piece Classified Gear Set, otherwise you'll end up farming for months for them.

I farmed the dz bosses last night for about 3 1/2 hours and pulled out 3 exotics, (all midas's) and 5 classifieds which helped me complete all three sets....yay me!
The other 3 guys I was running with didn't do too bad either. Between all 4 of us we ended up with 11 classified pieces, and 6 exotics. We were farming dz 6,7,8,. I don't know if where we were farming had anything to do with it but we didn't pull any good gear out of 9 or any of the lower dz's. The server was also pretty empty and again not sure if that has anything to do with it either. I wonder if the percentages are effected by how many agents are on a server and what drops they are getting. Just a thought.

Nope, they just left these pieces to die basically with limited usefulness. What ive done is incorporate 3 Classified Pieces onto my HExotic build to pump it up some that way. I do lose some perks from the HE/exotic pieces but nothing i cant live without (Ferro mask, shortbow pads and Nimble holster) as the increased firepower has made my sniper just that much more powerful, its just too bad they totally FRCUKED it up and it wont shoot 30% of the time now but if that is ever fixed agents will be in here crying about snipers in no time. So now this build has Reckless/Specialized/MC Skull Gloves for the hexotics and the other 3 are classified. 186k damage out of the box,104 chd and 197 hsd add ina pulse with elevated or Tactical advance and its one shot to the floor for the glass builds. Two for anyone else.

I am sorry, my initial post wasn't clear enough (I just fixed it btw). I meant if there was a chance for the dev team to actually implement it. I know they don't exist as of now. Thanks for replying though.
On a side note, I am not sure you could implement classified items with exotics just for the fact that one of the most (if not the most) important piece there is the Skull set of gloves. By using a Classified with it you are simply nulling the 16% damage increase afaik (maybe I am wrong).

The thing that is probably screwing up the drop rate for Classified from LZ bosses is the distribution of gold to teal items in the game. This ratio must dominate first, before the Classified teal items can break through. When Massive says the drop rate is 3%, it must not apply to the entire pool of items. Thus, I would say the net drop rate is really half that, and this turns out to be 1.5%. An average player who can grind out 33 LZ boss kills a day can expect a Classified item an average of every two days. My theory.
