I've opened 50+ Field Proficiency Caches and killed 150+ Named NPCs in the LZ and DZ, and yet I've to see a Classified Gear drop. I even dropped 3 Exotics.

Classified Gear Drop Rates:

-Dark Zone Named NPCs: 3%
-Light Zone Named NPCs: 3%
-Contamination Event: 3%
-Last Stand Cache: 1%
-Underground Cache: 1%
-Survival Cache: 1%
-Field Proficiency Cache: 1%


Did massive simply give us instead of 3% and 1% drop chances 0,03% and 0,01% drop chances? I was expecting them to be rare, but not to be even more rare than Exotics. Everyone that got a Classified Gear to drop can consider themself extremely lucky at this point. It's absolutely ridiculous how I can't get a single piece to drop after so many tries. GG Massive


So, playing at the Global Events is a must if you want to get your hands on any 6 piece Classified Gear Set, otherwise you'll end up farming for months for them.

Same here. got 3 exotics from killing bosses. lloks like exotict drop more then before in 1.6.1. but no Classified drops. not jet.

Some are complaining it is raining so much classifieds that they can't take it. I would say RNG is working as intended. Give to some, refuse to others, and call it a day.

Your sample of drop is pretty small to claim that something is broken.

150 kills at 3% rate, that's a very small sample.

Even worse with FPC, at 50 caches for 1% rate...

RNG is broken. You will have loot fall from the heavens the first two weeks of a patch and never fall again. I'm getting all the old junk and none of the new. Honestly it needs to rain from the sky because if the regular players don't get any of it they will quit. Honestly what is the point of a loot game if you get no loot.

Slight maths miss calculation is the correct answer

You must consider that at the moment we have 18 bit of gears.

Now let's say you need 1 bit to complete your gear set.

On a 3% chance you actually have 0.0016% chance of getting the one bit of gear you may be looking for.

Don't even look at 1% its 0.0005% chance.

I had saved up 240 FPC prior to 1.7 to open after GE. I got a total of 2 Classified drops, so about 1% for me. Would loved to have seen a bit more, but it did drop at the rate they stated it would.

I expect them to bump the drop rates up. Right now it's so atrocious it's not even worth looking for them now.

Just played for 35 minutes killing all LZ bosses and got 2 exotics again. yesterday in two runs 3 exotics, so its raining exotics, but no Classified stuff.

Does the server have someting to to with it? I am logging in in from the Netherlands. How aboud the Classiefied raining guys? Witch server are they using?

Last night I opened 65 field proficiency caches that I saved from the last double cache weekend, and out of those I got two classy pieces and one exotic holster. That was the first time an exotic has dropped for me from that type of cache, ever, and I've opened several hundreds of them since the day that feature was added to the game...
