I played Far Cry 4 through once and am now replaying it on the same PC machine I did the first time. It's a ASUS GL752VW laptop 64 bit with 16 GB ram and all the bells and whistles, operating with Win10. When I played this the first time, it worked fine, all keys, the same mouse, everything worked fine. However since I started replaying it I've noticed some problems.
First the LM button tends to stick, when I'm not even pressing it! Thus when I'm creeping along and have a pistol or grenade launcher in hand, it tends to go off by itself. Even with carrying a silenced weapon it still goes off, from time to time by itself, which leaves me with a shortage of ammo, etc. Also when I'm entering a truck or other vehicle, the grenade launcher will usually take out the windshield. No, I am NOT pressing the LM button. This also repeats - I've tried other mouse(s) and each one does the same thing.
So is there a patch out there which may cover this?
Second. At times when I exit an outpost I find that there are no vehicles of any kind showing up anywhere on the map, that's no trucks, cars, ATVs, boats or buzzers. Say I come out of the Ghale place and my trusty buzzer which I bought from the caretaker isn't there at its pad; nor is it at the pad at the outpost between the first map and S. Kyrat map. This only corrects itself when I exit the game (which is usually played offline) and restart it online. Then everything will pop up as they are supposed to. Still being required to play it online isn't something I want to do long term. Why did it work so well the first time, only to start having problems now?
So second question, is there a patch which might address this? Note I am NOT using any type of mouse acceleration.
I appreciate your time.
sounds like you need a new mouse or need to clean it
as far as any more patches .. the game is several years old .. patch 1.10.0 was the final patch for the game and should be applied by either steam or uplay automatically
