Mayday mayday. Why are we inviting new players when we don't have enough room for the players we have now? 20 clowns in the little car comes to mind. Unbelievable. Seriously..I do not believe their propaganda machine.

You dont want to spend the $$ on maintaining the app. We get it.

The delay was bad, that's obvious, I think we can all agree that Ubisoft isn't investing enough into this game because of how poorly the content is getting delivered and at such a relatively slow rate. The removal of maps from casual is really stupid too, I don't agree with that at all, casual players should be fine to play poorly balanced maps, we've already been doing it for a year.

You CAN'T pitch them crap for trying to fixed ranked though. I don't see what the problem there is, if you want to play these poorly balanced maps then just play casual, ranked SHOULD have only have balanced maps to begin with and Ubisoft are making a very obvious and good move that they're trying to put the health of the game first. The maps will get fixed in due time, even if it takes up to part of season 3 working on these maps instead of making new ones (although unideal) because in the end it's about quality more than quantity isn't it? Just look at how CSGO's competitive scene does a rotation of no more than 7 or so maps.

    EDIT:

Alright, reading this it's kinda sucky, my assumption is that consoles have an upper limit to how big an application can be on the local machine, and that this needs to be rolled out across all platforms for system parity. If that's the case then this is a huge case of how consoles are holding pcs back and it's really infuriating.
It's not a huge loss imo if we have maps like university and favela removed from the game entirely, but it'd be a bummer. If this is a true limitation of console then it'd be nice to break a bit of parity and just keep such maps in pc's casual mode. The REALLY scary thing that this entire situation could assume is that as they add maps in the future, they will constantly be hitting this data size limit and will be removing maps as they add them, something about this REALLY needs to change.

I was referring more to in-game toxicity but you're right on both fronts.

Took me time to understand why no one here gives a F about the community anger ...
    But eventually i understood:
They all (Ubisoft) busy now with Pro league finals and Gamescom right? no one care about us ... we just a side noise for them right now.

I'd be in on this if it weren't for the fact that I spend my weekends playing games like this and I get bored at a decent rate with each of them so I constantly rotate between each. This sucks and all, but i'll still be playing ranked come the weekend. Doesn't mean I'll be making anymore in game purchases though, done with that ****.

It's cool dude. Nobody needs you to sacrifice more than you're willing to. Glad to have your support either way.

I don't know about you guys, but I didn't sit through a late-announced 4-month Operation Health wait so we could have LESS playable content when it ended! We already had the Polish map removed to make way for Operation No Refunds, and now Casual players have Favela and Yacht removed, and Ranked players have those 2 maps removed as well as House, Hereford, Plane, Bartlett, and Kanal, plus the first brand new map in 7 months (Theme Park) will not be playable in Ranked! It's unacceptable!

We need to make a stand! We need to let Ubishaft know how unhappy we are with this decision! We need to boycott this game for at least 1 full week! We can make a difference! We can make a change! When the number of players playing AFTER the start of a brand-new season drops significantly, Ubi will have no choice but to take notice! We can do this! We can go without the game we love for a week, for the good of the months and years to come!

So please, upvote this thread! Vote in the poll to show your willingness to participate in this boycott! Choose either the week of September 5th through the 12th (official launch of Season 3 and access to new ops for SP holders) or the week of September 12th through the 19th (access to new ops for all players), or both!

I for one, as someone who didn't buy the SP, will be boycotting the 5th through the 12th, but I don't want anyone who spent their hard-earned money on the SP (thank you guys BTW) to have to throw away their week of "early" access, so the week of the 12th through the 19th is available for you guys to make a statement. Who knows, I may even extend my boycott if Ubisoft tries to ignore us. Remember, they need us more than we need them! There are other games out there! Other developers we could support! Don't let Ubishaft forget that!

    Stand strong my friends!

    /cheesy speech

But seriously, we can and should boycott. I definitely will. I hope some of you will join me.
They could have simply added a map vote feature for siege but leave to them for finding the worst solution for their problems...

Why boycott when Ubi is clearly demonstrating the necessity to lower the player base to the point where we wont require one. I'll wait for Ubi to show if they had this all planned out by some form of casual matchmaking improvements. Its gonna need OH2 if they didn't.

I Honestly don't think you need to do anything. The season will be DOA if ranked only has 9 maps in rotation and not including the new map. 90% of the players have no clue whats coming. Gonna hit'em like a freight train that will automatically kill a large chunk of rankers on impact.
