I was intending to buy the Year 3 season pass, as I did with the first two years, when it was going to be available. As part of my personal protest, I'll not be purchasing the next season pass nor any further cosmetics/r6 credits.

Agreed. Toxicity is just toxicity. People are toxic all the time for no reason at all. But a boycott will actually deliver a message. If a significant number of players stop playing immediately after they start a new season there's no way anyone could misinterpret it.
