Hey everyone,
Not sure if everyone saw the streams from today, but there was some news on this front:
Justin (One of our R6 ComDevs) and a few of the other presenters made sure to mention that
the team has seen the huge outpouring of feedback over this and they will be re-evaluating the situation and respond when the team returns to Montreal from Gamescon.
So there will be more discussion on this within the team and you can expect further announcements this coming week. We appreciate the passion and dedication you guys have continued to put towards Siege and we hear you.
All that being said, if you guys didn't catch the stream from earlier today, there were 3 panels that shared a lot of information:
1.)
Operation Health Panel - This covered the changes that have already occurred as well as gave some good insight into the future of Siege. (Map change and community feedback was mentioned)
2.)
ESports Panel - This featured many details regarding the pro-league tournaments, the R6 invitational, and had a bit of a deeper look into some of the reasoning behind the map change. (They also mention that the team will be taking another look at this due to community feedback.)
3.)
Operation Blood Orchid Full Reveal - This featured the new map "Theme Park" and details on the 3 new operators: Lesion, Ying, and Ela. There is also a play session where you can see them all in action.
