Title says it all. With the roll out of new heroes for seasons 2 and 3, we have seen both seasons introduce new characters exclusively fitting the roles of assassin and hybrid classes. With 5 assassins and hybrids to 3 vanguards and heavies, I think for season 4 our last two new heroes should be a vanguard and a heavy. Just figured I'd air that opinion early in season 3 while you're still working on the newbies for season 4. Vanguard. Heavy. Make it happen![]()
I completely agree. Although I don't care for a vanguard and honestly don't expect it. What I really expect is a heavy to be put into this and of anything they should both be heavies. Honestly I expected more love all across these classes, but in the end all the love is shown to the hybrids and the assassins. Even I would have expected the Highlander to be a heavy before even knowing a thing about him and yet he's a hybrid instead.
Basically is what I'm saying is can't the heavy class get some love too.
Well if my "prediction" is correct Huntress gonna be pure Assassin and Ronin gonna be Hybrid of Vanguard and Tank. Let my explain why!
Each faction has the same amount of classes like - 1 Vanguard, 1 Tank, 2 Assassin, 1 Hybrid of Vanguard/Assassin and 1 Hybrid of Vanguard/Tank.
- Knight :
+ Vanguard : Warden
+ Tank : Conqueror
+ Assassins : PK and Gladiator
+ Hybrid of Vanguard and Assassin : Centurion
+ Hybrid of Vanguard and Tank : Lawbringer
- Viking :
+ Vanguard : Raider
+ Tank : Warlord
+ Assassins : Berserker and maybe just maybe Huntress
+ Hybrid of Vanguard and Assassin : Valkyrie
+ Hybrid of Vanguard and Tank : Highlander
- Samurai
+ Vanguard : Kensei
+ Tank : Shugoki
+ Assassins : Shinobi and Orochi
+ Hybrid of Vanguard and Assassin : Nobushi
+ Hybrid of Vanguard and Tank : Maybe Ronin
But my theory/opinion might be wrong maybe Ronin is a Hybrid of Vanguard and Assassin but I doubt he's going to be that way because according to history Ronin is a Samurai that lost their master and fight for their own sakes so Ronin used to be a Samurai like Kensei > he's going to have Vanguard type and because they are going to fight alone on the battle field so they must have really strong muscle/ strength > Tank.
We try to make a good balance of the different class types and hybrids. And given that the original cast of 12 didn't have any hybrids, that's probably why we're putting more focus on hybrids with the new seasonal heroes. I will still give your feedback to the team however as food for thought for the future!
