in the main mission 'A Long Expected Party', my character reached eddie's party, talked to eddie and his whistling guy, inspected everybody in that villa. I followed the game's instruction to a T, but the uniday spy never showed at that party.

As a frustrating result, the mission can't be finished, the boss mission can't be unlocked.

So, Anybody could help me deal with this annoying bug ?

And please don't tell me try to join a public match, been there, done that, no joy

Have the same exact problem plus I did the whole reinstalling the game thing and still the same s*%t!
I really did enjoyed this game until now.

All I did was told the cartel to recon the area and then they found him for me

I'm also having this problem, i've already tried using the cartel recon at least 15 times with no luck, also tried to exit the mission zone and sending the drone, starting a fight with unidad and cartel, killing the guards until i get the mission fail and also searching for almost an hour for the spy inside the objective área and outside of it and nothing, i don't know if it makes any difference but i'm playing it on steam, also i can't progress in the story of this área if i don't finish this mission.

Hey there! You could try verifying your game files (Depending if you purchased the game through Steam or Uplay) to see if there are any corrupted files. If this does not help, please make a ticket with any screenshots or videos you have, and the name of the mission you are on. Thanks!

I just bought the season pass and came across the same thing. I tried restarting the game and computer and verifying game files. Nothing worked. Until I did something undersignedly.

So what I did was accidentally firing my weapon without a silencer, immediately alerting the unidad spy and revealing his location. I emptied half my clip because it took me this long to find him.

Maybe you can try what I did. It might work.
