One Important Question....
So I know everybody's really bummed that we didn't really see anything new at Gamescom, but its still going on as I'm typing this. Meanwhile, to have fun and kill time, I got one question that will hopefully start a debate or intellectual discussion: Coon and Friends or Freedom Pals?;

Coon and Friends for me because thats where it all started. Freedom Pals got full of themselves and abandoned their friends because they didn't like their positions in Cartman's cinematic universe lol. But who knows if something happens in game to change that.

Coon & Friends probably. Last time I went with the elves, but mostly cause the obvious reason that Cartman is the bad guy and Kyle is the voice of reason. However, Coon & Friends has the most superheroes I like and want to try out aa buddies like The Human Kite, Mosquito, and while his super hero persona isn't that interesting, Jimmy is one of my favorite characters. Freedom Pals has what, Tweek...? Token, meh... Mysterion and Timmy are obviously amazing though and I especially wanna see Timmy in action, so maybe those two will be enough to persuade me into joining them.

I'm gonna have to disagree with all of you... Personally, I love the Idea of the Freedom Pals. Matt and Trey did say this was especially a riff on Captain America Civil War. In Civil War, Cap and his crew split off the Avengers and go rogue to do what's right, and even though I chose Team Iron Man, that story resonates with me in FBW. I think that there's plenty of cool heroes on the FP side, mainly Toolshed Mysterion, Call Girl and Tupperware. Timmy is pretty awesome! I feel like they just wanted equality instead of the Coon Trying to be the Robert Downy Junior of the Coon Cinematic Universe. I do wonder though if Captain Diabetes' alignment depends on who you choose. Like maybe since you're his sidekick, he'll follow your lead. Or maybe he goes on the other side to even the numbers depending on which side you go on.

We already know that Toolshed is gonna switch sides and join Coon & Friends later, so I'm not worried about not getting him. But aside from that, Freedom Pals only has two members that interest me.

I do hope that at some point they join back together.

Most likely. It'll probably follow the same formula as Stick of Truth where the team we chose changes a part of the game but just with characters switched, and they join together later. Probably during the scene where Stan gives the "we all wanted to be superheroes for the same reason" speech. Plus we can see all kids together when they're walking in Maphestos lab.

Alright so Gamescom ends tomorrow and we haven't seen anything worth talking about besides the very slight continuation of the content we had already seen. Do you guys have anything coming out soon to tide you over the remaining 50-ish days we have to wait for this?

With the two new trailers that TheChrisTBH posted here, I thought it would be a good idea to revisit the question posed in this thread. Has anyone had a change of heart? Does anyone else want to weigh in?
