can't do 1st Weekly challenge Ocoro Hospital explosive mission ... | Forums

hi there,

back in the game cos i wanted to give it a second chance, i'm doing the weekly challenge, well at least trying.

why ? because i'm stuck in the first one : protect the doctor in Ocoro with explosives only on extreme mode.

it's been 9 times now i'm doing this mission using only mines, grenades launcher and explosive drone and although i succeed my tries (the doctor is still alive) without shooting ONE bullet my challenge is not counted i'm still on 0/2.

so anyone has an idea ? have i miss something or misread ?


(and yes if you ask, i check : i am on extreme, i only play this gamein this mode since release)

Have you started the mission at the right rebel camp? Fast travel to the correct camp in Ocoro, activate the mission and travel from there to the mission site. Once you arrive at the camp you get the '1/2'. '2/2' is finishing the mission using only explosives as you mentioned.

hum, well i activate the mission in another area than Ocoro and once done i teleport in the nearest camp from the hospital to get to the mission area.

but am i understanding right what you're suggesting : there is a specific camp where to port to activate properly the mission ?

Yep, the challenge has a specific camp named were you have to go before going to the hospital. It uses the camp to start tracking the weapon usage. Just go through the task description, as I don't remember what the camp's designation is (might be Bravo).

Edit: In any case you can't get to 2/2 before you got the '1/2' notification. So if you didn't get the one (or failed to stick to explosives afterwards), you need to return to the camp and then go on with the mission.

ok just tp to Bravo camp and got the 1/2 !

just weird you can activate the mission anywhere in the map but need to tp to this specific camp to activate .. i'd never thought of it !

Yeah, all those mission challenges have a starting point where the challenge parameters are started to be tracked - makes it also clearer to the players from when on they are limited in their gear usage - at least once they get used to this part of the challenges

I'll make note that the requirement that you start in Camp Bravo wasn't clear to some of you. Thanks for telling us about this.
