When i turned on my console from rest mode just now the download was already at 60% and still had 22GB left? REALLY? WTF

This is strange, as the download itself is 165 mb big, I think.

1.12 is fixing a match making bug afaik. 161.9MB was the size of mine. Maybe you haven't downloaded the season 3 patch?

I am already rep 7 Highlander so i did it was like i had to download the whole game again and not just the 165mb patch..

I had this issue also, it's because the game is cached into temp storage on the hard drive before applying the patch. You need to have the same amount of free space as the size of the game before the download can be initiated. Which is about 53GB. The game is cleared from temp storage and only the main copy remains. You basically have two copies of the game until the installation is finished. I've seen other updates for other games do the same thing, it's quite wasteful.
