Midnight Circuit Entrance Loop / Not able to play leg | Forums

Hi there,

for me it is the third time, also mentioned it here the third time see here http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...highlight=loop

For all unknown, i describe the entrance loop:

1. In Hometown i see the green lights, touch on it
2. The women says hello and i click OK
3. I see my rider and the MC logo, click on the "Join the midnight circuit" button
4. Some connection is trying and tada we get a message "Unable to connect to The Midnight Circuit. Please try again later and continue from where you left"
5. I'm back in the Hometown and see the green lights...

Now i'm in the loop. How i said again, i got this the third time.
I reopened my unresolved support ticket again
And also asked the community managers for help.

And i know i'am not alone. We dont have internet connection problems and our device is also good.
Because i was able to play leg 1.

So, is this really the way RL designed the team competition? no ingame team info?
I was expecting some mods coming here to say that this has not worked as it should, but I guess I'm wrong...

BTW. 2 Sorry team (Great Walls), this week midnight circuit is not letting me join. I played once and then was asked to join again. but now is always saying 'unable to connect'...

As you mentioned, this is also happening to me. It's the second time and I also have some unresolved tickets around.

after seeing the participation on leg 1 http://trials.bonxy.net/teams/34 i thought that all the "none playing guys" got this loop bug.

Also i see http://trials.bonxy.net/teams/36/The+Waterwheels that i have a time of 0.000 that means i'am in the leaderboard without a score and that could be the bug. I wish i could ask my team mates.

But for you ambsan47 i see you have the same in your leaderboard http://trials.bonxy.net/teams/36/Great+Walls

Did you try the first obvious solution of clearing cache and logging in again in the game?? It may work. Hope your problem gets resolved soon.

I tried so far everything. Clear cache and login at uplay, NOTHING CHANGE
I tried clear data and login again and sync my online progress to my phone, NOTHING CHANGE

Well, the problem isnt my phone or my internet connection, it is my online progress and the leaderboard.
Where only RL can change things.

Well guys, this sucks!

When this first happened to me, I thought it was supposed to be that way. I play one midnight circuit and cannot play the next one. I said O.K., that is how the system works.

Now that the championship began I see I am at a loss. This will have a great impact on the whole thing. If you look at Midnight Teams - Week 1 [URL="http://trials.bonxy.net/teams/34"URL] you can see that only 13 teams have all 10 participants completing the track. I highly doubt that and believe that many players have the same problem. I feel for all the players (and consequently teams) that can't play!

And of course nothing helps as deutcher-DE already mentioned.

Save us from this torment RL, please!

I found the solution how to fix it and fixed this issue for i think 20 people already
But it include binary code patching and memory editing.

I do it in two steps:
1. I login into person's account using patched game (patch forcing race to start bypassing this error), do 1 run and check, what time i need to beat. On 1st leg it was beatable time, on second - absolutely unbeatable. Where it comes from - I don't know. I remember that time value.
2. I do second run, pause game, search in memory for time value (that i need to beat) that i get on first run, change it to 3 mins (180000) and then I complete run with some not-so-good time to not get away the joy of competition from player.

After that result is saved into leaderboard and all working fine. Player takes progress from server and when he enters into MC he got into leaderboard screen directly, bypassing intro screen. Looks like that bug is eliminated this way, because when I fixed it on 1st leg for some people, on second leg game worked fine for them. Only one person got this error again on 2nd leg and I successfully fixed it again.

Yes you're right negodyaeff was able to help me!
Now i'am able to play the second leg.

The bug is a wrong stored time in the progress, that get a mismatch on leaderboard and then the error occurs.

RL please ask/talk with negodyaeff!

He fixxed our MC loop bug, which we have about a half year, i guess.
He also fixxed our graphics performance problem, i got a 600ms+ record on broken skull.
