Looks like our 9th place finish was a little optimistic now that the official results are out. No matter, we're kicking it into high gear for Week 2!!!

The official results are rubbish. They have not accounted for faults.

Arrgh! Thats right. Wish they were using the LB scoring algorithm like you did, since it handles faults.

I can also understand why they chose to give non-participating payers a "default time" of 26.86 in Leg 1; but are they going to choose a different number on Leg2? I assume so.... still, its a pain since the 26.86 number has no obvious relationship to the plat/gold/silver times for the track..... there is no telling what will be chosen next time.

my guess is that's the worst time of all championship participants who actually played

so everyone that didn't play becomes "as worse as the worst", kinda levels it.. somehow..

    Your exactly right.

It makes absolutely no sense. So annoying.

You may be right. I'm going to munch some data later and see if I can work it out.

They should have taken the top 5 times from each team. Most teams have at least one player that didn't even play, which skews everything unfairly.

    GG again RL.

    Bonxy,
You mentioned RL didn't count on faults. But I checked each team individually on your site and not a single player had any faults since they get so man retries at the MC.
