The connection problems are getting out of hand

I have not had a single match in the past two days where it didn't resynchronize at least once every 10 seconds. Even in duel matches I lose because of the resynchs. My combos get ended, and my opponent gets free damage that I otherwise would have blocked because of the resynchs. It is really frustrating and the main reason why I am leaving this game for Absolver the second it comes out.

Are the two of us the only ones who are upset about this? I just lost three brawls because my opponents got free guard breaks and damage of resynchs...

No, I bet my life savings your not the only people who are upset. I've personally lost fights, even games due to resyncs. It's frustrating yeah, but there's no point in beating a dead horse mate. Ubi will fix it eventually, I don't doubt it. We just have to be patient, and everyone knows the state of the game atm. That's why no one else has commented I'd guess. Ubi will fix this game, one day.

This dead horse has already been kicked for months. And they are going to be releasing dedicated servers: http://kotaku.com/for-honor-is-final...ers-1797301086

I'll be curious to see if dedicated servers have any other negative impacts to the gameplay.

One major concern I've seen is that with dedicated servers comes lag. But I think that largely depends on how well Ubi implements them.

That's basically the big question, what kind of impact will a middle man have on the gameplay. The server is going to have to properly sync inputs from two different players, instead of players syncing interactions client-side. If they introduce actual lag into the game, playing with 100-200 ms delays might completely ruin the experience.

So people will be connected to the servers, but they still won't really be able to play. Light spam will get a whole lot spammier.

Tbh, since they are not gonna fix these issues any time soon, the least they can do is remove the free damage people get from resynchs. Maybe rewind the match two seconds when it resynchs or something like that.

There are more resynchs since the latest update.

Addressing connection issues is an ongoing effort from the team. We are continuously looking to address issues with the current system and improve it until we make the migration to dedicated servers. We will then continue to address connectivity concerns with the new system, should any arise.
