Difference is that this is about a MASK. And you are crying a river over something you will see as u are about to press log in and thats it. Basically you are stamping your feet like a child demanding their sweets

@Gallahad didn't they say Tier 3 rewards will be given to the top 3 or 5% (it certainly wasn't top 10% but correct me if i'm wrong here

maybe you tried hard but you tried hard doing the wrong things. I farmed survival caches, you don't start out with a great gearset in fact it's completetly the opposite. And as far as a gearset for doing missions, it isn't that difficult to throw one together, and if you played the sever outbreaks and worked as a team with headshots they were relatively easy as well. And for the record, survival caches and last stand caches earned before the event started didn't have credits in them so this pre cheesing or whatever your calling it is total nonsense. All you needed to do was to grind for caches, and it is a grind because they don't just give those things away, get a good team together and run as hard as you could for 50 min and then pop your caches. To say those of us that were at the top didn't work for our place is total bull, and I am sorry that you didn't get what you wanted but as in all competitions there must always be winners and losers. What I'm seeing on here are a bunch of players that are upset that massive didn't literally spell it out for them on the most efficient way to accrue credits, and had the audacity to expect people to figure it out for themselves, so all I can say is better luck next time, I truly hope your outcome is better in the next event, if there is one.

We're making a complaint against some unfair practices used on this particular event in order to help them improve things for future events.
I hope that they will read these comments and find another way to create and reward these events. I'd rather be discussing that instead of asking you to stop with the attitude

I think they should go with the commendations as a way to earn the masks or whatever it may be. The leaderboard idea was never going to work. We said from day one that it was too easy to cheese and too easy for hackers.

Actually no the thread wasnt about what you claim. It's whole premise is to blame cheaters and exploiters for why they didnt get what they wanted. I would agree that the leaderboards are crap and there is much better ways to reward players for getting involved with the events. But trying to lay blame on cheats etc when they make up for a tiny fraction of the people how got rewards is quite frankly ridiculous.

The leaderboards would be a perfect way to reward players if it worked.....
16 000 players would have gotten tier 3 if it worked as intended , another huge ammount would have gotten ter 2 at least.

The idea behind the leaderboards is decent, the implementation is whats bad. And no we are not upset about the masks, we are upset with the devs.
Just for once i would like to see massive either being honest, or actually doing something right.

Nice one for getting mask/s, haven't actually logged in yet to see if I also did (damn you rl lol). Jokes aside, you must admit that the leaderboard system is way out of whack here with peeps scores fluctuating and also being dropped tiers that didn't actually make any sense.

Even Ubisoft have said they understand it hasn't been implemented well and are working on changing it. No offence but your comments do come across as someone who lacks zero understanding of the situation with the only thing I think you are implying is people need to 'get gud' or learn to play.

Like I said good for you on obtaining the mask/s but I think you just got lucky.

Actually there were several ways to get the masks. Non of which involved luck. Not liking the system I can understand, but trying to put down as luck the work alot of people put into getting what they got, is a bit silly.

All i learned from this event is that if you cheat only good things happen and you get what you want and ubisoft couldn't care less. Is that the message you want us to have ubisoft?
