    Ok, so don't watch em, no one is pressuring you to, but the threads with the videos will be full of discussion about their content, so you may wanna steer clear of the threads to avoid the spoilers within.

    Champ, I noticed in that vid you posted it seemed like he was able to climb up or mantle onto a rock ledge without any indication of a climb prompt so hopefully they've improved upon the climbing mechanics in the game. Also it appears they're not even bothering with loot animations anymore, the guy killed some wolves & there was no skinning animations when he looted them... not much of a bummer but those little actions certainly kept you ' in it' so to speak, immersive little animated actions, but they did kinda slow it down and in FC4 I did end up disabling loot animations on other playthroughs...

    Right, so with more game footage of Far Cry 5 surfacing, here are some things I noticed compared to Far Cry 4, related to how things and Custom Map making works in Far Cry 4:

    * (some) DOORS seem to work properly now, being able to open them in increments:

    * (some) FENCES are destructible with a car, you can just plow through them

    * LOOT READOUT is aggregated and only remains on the HUD for a couple of seconds after the last pickup

    * PATHING may have been improved; AI seems to have higher jumpheight so they will scale fences with a bunnyhop. With fences gone as a barrier, hopefully we'll have more control over AI to keep them in a sector in the Mapeditor.

    Also, with the nice mincing action done by the tractor, I'm hoping enemies in the final game will be gibbable, so enemies won't just either stay in one piece or completely evaporate once they get killed off. Would make explosives loads more fun to use too!

    It would be cool if they had corn fields and you could plow trails into it with that tractor. Speaking of, in the e3 trailer it shows them mince a guy with the tractor and blood splatter on the windshield but it hasn't done that in any of this pre-gamescom/ gamescom demo footage...

    Just like how in FC4 getting direct blasts with explosives like grenades or rockets would just eviscerate the enemy into nothing... It'd be cool if they had dismemberment and gibbing in the game and really lean into that M rating a bit more...

    Yeah, thats what I was talking about. Wouldn't it be cooler if those guys just got gibbed big time and instead we had legs/ arms & torsos tossed about from those explosions? High caliber sniper rifle shots should blow off arms/ legs, point blank shotgun head shots should pop heads and in general there should be increased blood effects everywhere. It'd make the combat more visceral & fun. Also with a more accurate location based damage they could have it so arrows are not a one shot to the hand and they're dead situation and we could get guys limping about if you shot them in the knee... rather than a single arrow in the calf killing an enemy it should have to be a mortal shot...

    I liked the demo, although the screen was a little fuzzy at times, I am sure it ill be better on the PC. What is the capacity on the rifle's mag? 10 rounds? I am looking forwatd to the final version when I will get to play. So far so good. Thanks!
