UPDATE: Thanks to @Arekonator, it's been figured out. This move seemed rather confusing at first as there are no hints providing you with the information that you can jab the enemy if he is near the wall instead of throwing him in another direction.
Hey, I can't wrap my head around this. I once accidentally managed to jab another player during the skewer unblockable attack - it was a genuine stunning jab, same as during dodge. What happened was that my trident was stuck in the opponent for roughly half a second and then I jabbed him while still having the trident in him. Looked like a deliberate move that, I imagined, would be listed in the move set.
After spending a bit over an hour in a practice mode I came to a conclusion that it must be possibly landed in a very, very strict time scope immediately after driving the trident into the enemy. WSAD keys or spacebar are not needed as it would result in a throw in specific direction, I managed to land it just with the GB button. Sometimes I landed it, sometimes I didn't, therefore I seek clarification.
Anyone able to help out regarding this move? It's really confusing me and almost seems as a random occurance. At first it was doable even while holding one of the dodge-direction keys, sometimes it required double tapped GB.![]()
It actually sounds like a bug and I'd encourage you to capture a video if you can get it to work again. That way we can see specifically how you achieved and and I can pass it along to the devs to make sure and check if this is intentional or a bug. (But most likely seems like it's a bug at this point). Thanks!
Not sure if he was or not, but I'm most certain that the other 10 or 20 times I somehow accidentally managed that during the lvl0 bot practice, it was out in the open, without any obstacle nearby.Originally Posted by Arekonator Go to original post
edit: I tried it again, making sure the target is very close to a wall with his back and bam, it worked like that. After piercing that poor Isaac PK roughly 30 times to be most certain it now only works when the target has its back againts the wall, so you were right. I most honestly would've sworn on my life that it worked perfectly out in the open without any wall nearby but I might've gotten close to that carriage in the middle of the arena and it counted as a collision. Therefore, case closed!
It's rather a rare occurace so I'm leaning towards a bug but I'll definitely record the entire animation from start to finish (given I manage to trigger it again) and submit a ticket with the clip attached.Originally Posted by UbiNoty Go to original post
