You're my hero, isenhauwer. Well done. People have brought this up in other threads and the common response is "user error," which it obviously is not.

I only play since last weekend, and I am not really good.
But I was wondering why I can't even win against bots anymore, and why I am just too stupid too block anymore. So I guess this is the reason.
Either way, I guess I just stop playing this game.

Try to unplug your controller and plug it back in. that has helped me once.

@Poenix21 While the game is running, or should I stop it between unplugging?

---Reflex guard seems like it's extremely inconsistent.

---I've noticed I've been getting heavily locked into a "stunlock" animation by everything. For instance, fighting a centurion after getting punched by him, I see all the lights coming in, and it feels like I'm holding my guard in the direction of the attack but it's just not coming up like I'm constantly stunned or my input just isn't registering for like a second or so. I've played orochi too and it doesn't feel as bad on him. I don't know if this is some side effect of removing timesnap, but honestly the game feels dreadful, I may aswell be just be button mashing at this point.

---I can't seem to ever counter a GB where I could CGB all day long before.

---All light attacks for pretty much every class feel completely unreactable, even orochis side lights. I'm getting the red hit indicator pretty much show as I'm getting hit, and other times it shows up fine.

---parry & deflect windows seem off.
If I had to guess, it's like they added a half a second of extra "stun" effect to every attack I'm taking.

---Playing against the highlander, I've noticed if he hits me with one heavy, he gets a guaranteed second heavy, as I'm still fully in stunlock animation for that long where none of my inputs are registering.

I don't know if all of this is due to timesnap removal or what, but nothing in the game feels either consistent, or half the time reactable anymore, wish I could try two versions of the game back to back, with and without timesnap and see if that's the problem or if it's something else.

    Anyone experienceing the same?

Also, on PS4 pro, there is something really off with the controller too (which doesn't happen on regular PS4). If you press up on the "top guard" three or four times really quickly with Shinobi, you'll notice the guard keeps refreshing and deteriorating multiple times after you have stopped inputting controls, like the game is running 3 seconds slow, happens with other attacks like heavies and GB too, I think it's a bug.
Yes, I am experiencing the same. Just about everything in this game is inconsistent.

Just tried this unplug trick, it didn't really help.
But what I just realized is that the Matchmaker things I am on par with Level 3 bots. Which is flattering, but I am clearly not. I tried in Training a few times with a level 3 bot, and it was a massacre.

How many duels do I have to lose until the matchmaker realizes that lvl 2 bots are on par with me?
Also, more steps between lvl 2 and 3 would be really cool.
Lvl 2 = I win most of the time, basically I really have to be lazy to lose.
Lvl 3 = Oh my god. I have to be lucky to win.

Yes, sure, L2P and stuff. But games don't tend to be fun when losing 95% of the time, and will be put away sooner or later.
