Thank you for deleting the duplicate, it lag when I posted this thread, so I guess that happen also what you said is true. Everyone tries to make a game that people will enjoy, but I have a feeling UBISOFT could blow this game out of the water if the company/devs really wanted too. Thank you for replying.

Looks like garbage, and I don't mean the graphics. If you've ever held a melee weapon of any kind, sword, staff, spear, whatever, you know that your legs have just as much to do with how you swing as your arms. These guys move and fight like two midgets in a coat. Looks like Chivalry with less personality.

About the only thing they have in common is that they're both set in a medieval period.
Mordhau seems to be a direct successor to Chivalry in fact
Yes i came out to hard but why write nonsense like this then? The core key about games like for honor and modhau is that you can choose where to attack, so leaving that out seems silly.

You're obviously hyped for Mordhau so have fun playing it when it comes out. Just don't expect other people to care about it as much as you do.
Iam not to hyped about it. I am to smart to being hyped about games i havent sensed the depth of.

Neither Mordhau nor For Honor need to "beat" the other one because they are not competing with each other.
What makes you say this? Why arent they competing with each other?
And i still dont understand how you can not comapre these two with each other?

First of all : it doesn't seem playable with a controller since all the explanations are about keyboard + mouse
Second of all : First person games makes me sick. Physically sick.

    I'll stick with For Honor.

Those are not the same games, though Mordhau combat looks more realistic, for honor combat is more interesting thanks to feint as varying rythmn during combat thanks to combos... even though some are completely broken atm. Also mordhau high liberty is not realistic for the simple reason a fighter will always try to use an attack he masters to obtain a specific result rather than doing a weird move coming from nowhere just because he can while hoping it will eventually hit the target.

Finally animations, graphics as environnements of for honor are way better and for honor tries to walk the competitive path, even in quite a laborious way, which mordhau will never be able to do.

I've played chivalry quite a bit and it was lot of fun, but for honor is better imo for it's based on combos which is way closer to real combat, even though fighters are anachronically chosen for their fancy touch.

Mordhau is trash. Literally too many problems to count. Could be a fun game but not in its current state.

I've played both games and they are not similar at all. Just because it has guys with armor fighting eachother doesn't mean they are the same. And whoever said you block in the same direction of the swing just like for honors art of battle is completely wrong. The only thing that "blocks" is a shield everything else Is a parry. Mordhau Is a clunky slow first person fighting game. For honor is a fast paced moba hybrid thing. I get way more enjoyment out of for honor. Mordhau is fun but is very repetitive and boring most of the time.

Oh no, what will Rainbow Six ever do to compete with ARMA?

Wanted to say that FPS means first person -shooter- and well this game moderhaudel is not even a shooter, neither a game to compare to for honor, the combat system is way more advanced in for honor than in modrehuadel (:

It's not a shooter, true, even though technically you can use bows to "shoot" people over long distances. It's primarily a first person fighter. As well as a lute barding simulator

The combat systems are different. I wouldn't call what For Honor does as more "advanced" than Mordhau. I'd classify it as being faster paced and more frenetic than Mordhau's slower paced and more strategic approach to combat.
