Considering The following characters are op

    Raider
    Gladiator
    Centurion

And two of them are insta wins i will leave if i get match with one of these op characters. STOP PUNISHING ME FOR YOU HAVING BROKEN CHARACTERS! WHY DOES THIS GAME WHICH HAS EVERY MODE BE SET TO ESSENTIALLY CASUAL PUNISH ME EVERYTIME I LEAVE A GAME IT IS RIDICULOUS FIX YOUR ****.

    Nope.

Sorry but if one person leaves it has the potential to completely destabilize the entire match and kick everyone from it, sending them back to matchmaking for however long that's going to take and ruining the game for everyone. I know it sucks, my dude. The fact is, if you want to stop getting leaver penalty you're going to need to stop leaving matches just because someone picks an OP character.

Also, I wouldn't be calling the gladiator OP just yet. He's been out for all of about two days (a little over), and so far not everyone has been having a problem with that character, least of all me, someone who's taken up Highlander after being maining assassins since the Beta.

Given how games most likely crash if a person leaves I'm going to say no

You can still leave in first 30s with no penalty.

As Arek said, no penalty for quitting in the first 30 seconds. That's the grace period. I like the system how it is, keeps the farmers from cheating the system. Of course there are ways around it but if you report them to the dev team then they'd have nowhere else to go.

gladiator is not OP, lots of opportunity for a free GB, his skewer is easily parried I think glad needs a buff. Raider is only op because of the stampede charge which is getting nerf, centurion is only op if there are more than 2 of them which in most games Im the only cent.

After the hero series finals it is abundantly clear how overpowered Centurion is. If it wasn't for Nobushi unlock tech exploit Bandanaa would have won the finals hands down.

In a word no. You agreed to join a multiplayer match, knowing full well what classes are available and that your opponent may pick anyone of those.

You have a 30 second grace period to make your mind up (which is a good thing) and by leaving it can totally unsettle the connection (not your fault, it is Ubisoft's but changes will one day arrive I am sure...I mean hopeful).

As for Raider's charge I have found dodging backwards as soon as it starts is a good way to avoid it. Maybe my opponents are using it out of distance but thought this advice might help.

Just use one of the glitches to bypass it. Theres a few ways out there. Its in the game and is ubis problem as they said about other things. Personally I dont think the penalty helped that much. It did some but it didnt fix it all. It was a bandaid. Ragequiters are still common in most of my games.

A penalty does nothing to the players that rage so hard they break sh*t. By the time their done raging and calm down the penalty is over. Rinse Repeat.

Then to top it all off.....I even get the penalty for getting errors or disconnects, not for ragequiting. It was a bandaid with razor blades attached to it.

Whoa you must be 5 years old to want to rage quit rather than learning how to fight these characters. I just got the game during the free weekend and i already beat players using each one of these characters several times, all of them having higher skills than me.

Know what I did? First time when i lost, i didnt freaking rage quit and throw a tantrum like a toddler. I wrote "good fight" because they were good fights as the characters were used completely legitimately. Then i started learning how to counter their moves. For example, a lot of people whine about centurion instead of observing his moves and device ways on how to beat him. Against my opponent, when he did the kick i just rolled back or side; even if i miss that and he tried that charged heavy, i just parried it. The same principle applies to all and any character in duels (dont know about dominions since i havent played it yet).

so it all comes down to whether u have learned these BASIC mechanisms or not. So get better yourself and start acting like a mature man who can take responsibility for his own failings instead of blaming others and the system.
