The various crystal effects are probably the best in the game right now, especially for executions. The weak link at the moment is the Ice Crystal variant, however.
Currently on executions the majority of the ice crystals form on the character doing the execution, rather than the person being executed. This diminishes the visual effect of them "shattering" when the execution blow actually comes.
I would request a re-distribution of Ice Crystals during execution so it is more convincing. Preferably near entry/exit wounds if possible. The other crystal effects however, are spot on.

I'll just hijack this for a somewhat related question of my own, if that's okay with everyone. The Smoke effect on executions - it's cool, but is there any chance it might be changed so that only the blade/metal part of the weapon gets the 'heat up' visual? Right now it looks both like it should seriously hurt the executioner and a bit like a graphics glitch. Seeing how in many cases at least the weapons are made up of different components with the blade usually being one of them it seems like it should be possible.
