From the Xbox 1 Duel perspective...
Defensive meta is still very profitable with only an attempted nerf to the parry system that seems only to affect the Highlanders.
The new classes are fairly balanced, at least better than the season 2 ones which SOMEHOW still need work.
Better bots introduce to game modes.
Chip damage increases.
The game is fun regardless of the issues. My chief complaint will always be the loading times/match length. I did some quick math, and out of the ~175 hours I have on the game since release, around 60-70 of those were spent in loading screens. And about 90 hours of actual PVP playtime. So it's for every 1.33 hours of PVP gameplay I have, I also have an hour of loading. I'd be interested in seeing if others experience similar numbers. I'd assume so.
EDIT: And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the connection issues. But, everyone knows that and sort of just deals with it.
We've released parts of the def meta update, but are still testing out some others and will be releasing it gradually over the course of future updates. Parry is one of the changes we're holding off on until we can find the best way to implement it.Originally Posted by Specialkha Go to original post
The new classes seem to be quite good so far. But they've only been out for 2 days now (a bit over 50 hours now) so there's still time for solid feedback to start coming in.
Also, welcome back!
I've had 2 friend stop playing pointing fingers at the centurion. As for myself, I felt so burned out by him in season 2 that I now play about once or twice a week and instantly quit any game including a centurion. I know it's toxic and I dont care. I will keep doing so for as long as Ubisoft refuse to nerf him to the ground.Centurion is the same if not better then release date. They really don't listen to the player base. but hey what do i know i only had 4 friends i know stop playing this game because of the centurion. lol
