    Weekly Missions

    Ubi,

Not sure if XBox or PC is going thru the same situation but on PS4 our weekly missions solo, taskforce and even community missions are being completed within 1 or 2 days from release, making weekly missions look as if they were daily.

If daily missions would be implemented, that would be great because every day is going to keep us busy. This was one of the things I do take back from the game Tom Clancy's The Division the division, at least while we wait for full implementation of PVP, having both weekly missions and daily missions would keep us tied to the game.

For example, the current weekly solo missions could be considered a daily taskforce mission instead of solo challenges and everyday changing the mission to a new one utilizing campaign missions or side missions. Why? Because we can do what ever we want with revel support and our AI but we need to learn to play together as a tactical team accomplishing a common goal that's why I believe solo missions as the one's from today should be daily. This should be changing everyday utilizing the games current side missions of campaing missions, keeping teams constantly in their toes by learning to play together.

Weekly missions should take us at least 5 days to complete or more and one part of those weekly missions should be to complete a certain amount of daily missions as well in order to get a full reward, those that don't complete all daily missions for the week should get half of a reward.

Community challenges should not be completed in one day, the community is very enthusiastic about completing the weekly mission that it gets done in one day, but then we will have six more days to wonder around when PVP is coming out and complain about things. If players are kept busy on a day to day basis, they will be more satisfied with the game and stay online some more.

I was not a fan of Tom Clancy's The Division PVP mode, but their coop story and daily, weekly missions we implemented really well. I had to say that many players were playing more coop daily and weekly missions than the actual PVP. This was keeping us busy.

Just a thought, because we have 6 days and 3 hours left on our weekly missions on PS4 and our community has 196144 of 200,000. This challenge will be done today.

I think it's just a case of more people stepping up and doing the challenges. This wasn't always the case and to be honest I prefer the help!

As much as I would like challenges that take 10-15hrs to complete. There would than become a huge up roar from the "casuals" that don't have much time to play a week. However, even 1 challenge added a week that would require 10-15hrs to complete would make me happy while keeping the casuals happy. Downside, the 1 long challenge would require a lot of planning and time, perhaps even eat up additional time by needing 'testing' for time length. So, I don't see this happening just because of the employee(s) time factor.

I'd much rather have a random mission generator for day to day stuff to do (perhaps with selectable parameters). .....but that's just me.

I guess I should have added that I would still enjoy weekly challenges for the rewards, etc. but a mission editor/generator would do much more for those simply looking for things to do in the game. IMO, it's a better solution for day to day replayability if it's done right.
