About the same time as you posted the thread, I had the same problem.
I restarted my laptop several times and even let it be for a couple hours, but I still get the error everytime I start matchmaking and it wants to join a party.
Hope it is just a temporary server issue or something, not something that would require me to redownload the 50GB game again
