So took a good long break from the game and just wanna know how nobushi is doing? She was my main from the start of the game and just curious. What other nerfs and buffs did I miss?

Nobushi is waht she have always been.

She's good when well used by mixing up between heavys and lights, feints, kick, recovery cancel and doged attaks. Yet she's still pretty much low tier when it comes to high levle play since her lights are too easily parryable :/

Nobushi rep 14 here. Without zoneflicker and unlocktech you wont see her winning anything serious. Her kick is incredibly slow, her attacks easily parried. While hidden stance is great overall, thats the only tool she has that might work vs players. I like the fixes for unlocktech, never used it (flicker I did^^). It will show the devs all the shortcomings she has.

Nooo, dont nerf that, Im a Nobushi main and just learn about her unlock tech by watching the tournament.

I used to believe that she is one of the weakest hero in FH (You can see my poll of bottom tier heroes and my thread about how bad she is in duel), but that change after I saw her winning the tournament. Finally she has trick behind her sleeve to use.

What is unlock tech?

Unlock tech is a bug in the fighting system. Some attacks, when you are not locked on a target, become unparryable for the victim. E.g. Warlord and Nobushi zone attack. So, people who abuse this lock on you, come close, then unlock and instantly press zone attack. If you try to parry or deflect it - you will get hit. You can only block it, which gives the "unloch tech" user a huge advantage since he can attack freely without taking the risk to get parried.

The official hero series tournament winner was a nobushi using 3/4 unlock attacks. Pretty embarrassing for UBI imo, because the unlock tech is known since release.
