New to game looking for advice from Vets?!

I'm fairly new to the game, been playing TF for several months now and really enjoy the game when i have downtime.

    UPGRADES:

    Armadillo: 9/8/9/8
    Tango: 7/8/8/8
    Bronco: 5/5/5/5
    -
    Jackal: 6/6/6/6
    Mantis: 5/4/5/5
    Marauder: 3/4/4/4
    -
    Riptide: 5/5/6/5

CURRENT MISSIONS: "The Bigger They Are" Riptide mission. "Trapped" on the island ghost mission, "Extra Entertainment" beat Cassidy in Pike Alley & lastly "Race of Legends" beat Terracotta Rider in Pike Alley.

This is where I'm at so far for missions & upgrades. Using all my coins to upgrade Tango & Mantis so I can complete these missions. I've heard they have a better pay off? Riptide is also important to progress story, but getting expensive. Trying to equally upgrade everything, helps out with Slot Machine missions I've noticed.

Racing Sea-Blue Season....should i spend my chips on Daily Specials like gems and coins? Or keep buying Donkey blueprints (Do they run out, or hold major value)? I've given up on buying the tracks, current one is at 10,000 Crystal Kingdom. Rather expensive and they keep going up in price?

Any Advice or tips to progressing faster , bike upgrades? and getting more coins would be really appreciated

GIFT BOX- CrushGM Of course I send my friends gifts

    Hello CrushGM,
It's nice to see you so deeply involved in the game. I have recently become friends with you (as TheNinja2016). My advice to you would be to first upgrade the Tango, Bronco and the Mantis bikes. They prove to be a great help in the bunker and in climbing the leaderboards. Also use the bunker chips to buy gems(the most important thing in the game) and golden tickets to excel in the Bunker. You may also use Bonxy's site for stats. Donkey blueprints will always be there in the Bunker. Bunker tracks must also be bought since they help you in climbing the leaderboards but their prices go on increasing. The current track which I want to own is Traction Testground costing 40,000 chips. As you are new to the game, there's a possibility that you might not be knowing about the Data cube missions. Just search about them on Youtube.
One last tip: Just practice and practice and in no time you will climb up the leaderboards. Happy Riding!!😀😀

Personally I would stop building new bikes until you've completed the upgrades on your current ones. I can't speak for everyone but I think you may need the "speed" bikes to beat the terracotta warrior and your speed bikes need a lot of upgrading. Also having a lot of partially upgraded bikes is a liability if you play the bunker where your opponents will likely be riding fully upgraded ones. Even if you have all the blue prints, hold off building new stuff until the old stuff is 10/10/10/10.

There are outfits which give you benefits like speeding bike upgrades or increasing coin payouts from tracks. You should check out the clothing shed and start getting the beneficial outfits. There is one that takes the slot machine regeneration down to 72 minutes, this is a very good one to start with. The slot machine is where most of my coins come from and it's a good source of gems too.

Use those coin doubler magnets when you win them, don't feel the need to save them or eventually you'll have more than you know what to do with (I have over 1000 right now). In terms of coins per fuel used, urban jungle is the best paying track available.

I'm going to throw another thing out that may be controversial but super important to know and a way to game the system to your advantage.

    NEVER SET NEW RECORDS UNNECESSARILY!!!!!!!!!

The ANBA robot doesn't end and is just a record keeper of every top time everyone has ever had. When you race ANBA all you are doing is improving over your previous top time in a track. ANBA pays decent coins and very good exp (later on).

If you race ANBA and beat him by more than a small fraction of a second you should redo the run. Say you have a perfect run and would have beat him by 3 seconds, the next time you race ANBA on that track you'll need to beat that super run you set and may get stuck. At some point you might not be able to beat your best run.

I've been playing a while and recently acquired the KTM 450 which is crazy overpowered and glides through the air like a blimp. I could beat all my old tier 2 records in an afternoon with it but I won't unless I'm racing ANBA. Even then I'll only let myself beat him by a little bit, if I beat him by more than a .250 I'll redo the run until I get it under.

Long story short, if you go out and try to set fastest times on all tracks just for the fun of it, you will severely reduce the total coin and exp payout you get from ANBA because ANBA will be too much of a grind to really progress. Only set new records when racing ANBA, playing in the bunker or when forced to by story mode.

Hah @ $200 per check - I hope you don't have to chose between owning a car and playing this game!

I'm glad to see new players are playing. I've been playing for 2+ years now, and have spent about $35 in bundles. Paying isn't required, but it does mean you'll have to be patient.

Gaming the ANBA until you've finished getting all possible tracks is important. I saved gems to get fuel tank upgrades, which in turn made it easier to grind out the coins needed to max all bikes out. Lots of Bunker and slot machine helps out too.

    Resp to all!

@The Warrior: Thanks, super addicted to the game at the moment. Haha thanks for the gift, literally just got it while drafting this. Ye I'm focusing on those bikes the most, parts getting spendy though. Good to know about the Donkey blueprints. Spending chips on gems/coins and when i any leftover chips on donkey parts.40k Wow thats a lot...at 10k I value the other rewards more already lol. I think i found a few Data cubes, don't see the guys for those missions at the moment though

@Hanks420: 10/10/10/10 will be hard. I will set 8/8/8/8 as my new goal for now xD. Have to get my bronco leveled up more. Gotta see the outfits, just been winning some in slot machine and wheel spins. I have 26 magnets, I'll start spending them more soon, good to know thanks! Wow didn't know that about the Robot, I'm stuck on one at the moment, just focusing on leveling up bikes.

@ciscodalicious: Haha right, ill take 1M coins please! Ye I get gems and coins and sometimes donkey parts.

@Rocknrolll21: I'm poor, food and bills come 1st looool

@Whitechapple: Ye I'll think about dropping a small amount of money on the game if something works out. Just grinding coins and upgrading at the moment. Stuck on most of my missions rightnow.

    Save your money

Outfits in order of importance (my opinion)

    Cyborg - speed-up bike upgrades by 10%
Cyberpunk - Reduce slot machine cool down by 20%
Platinum Knight - Speed-up fuel refill by 33%
Goon - 50% more coins per checkpoint
Cornelius Costume - 10% discount in PvP Chip Shop (absolute must if you need the tracks)
Enforcer - Increased growth on the loot wheel (it’ll still screw you over mind!)
Priest - +1 gems on the loot wheel (you won’t land on it too often so don’t worry about this one)

Manbird - 2x more coins per checkpoint (this was a purchase only but it has been given away as a prize in events)

Don’t upgrade the Armadillo, Jackal and Riptide any more than you need to for the missions. They are nothing but a coin, parts and time sink. Same as the saloon upgrades, but sadly you have to waste parts on this for progression. Concentrate on maxing the Agile/Speed bikes first because that’s all you need in the end. Only worry about the balance bikes if you’re playing the bunker a lot.

It’s been so long I can’t remember much, especially regarding the missions. It’s probably worth upgrading the size of your fuel tank so you can play longer if you can spare the gems!

Can’t believe I'm saying this, but you should probably play the puppy missions every day if you're not so you get 10 gems over the week.

I don’t envy the position new players find themselves in today, it was bad enough when it was 9 bikes with 10 upgrades across each of the 4 different categories!

Now an additional 3 ‘must have’ bikes, the donkey and the 2 crazy bikes and the millions of coins required, not to mention the parts, the waiting for the upgrades to complete and the knowledge that chucking a significant sum of money at it won’t eliminate any of this, it’s no surprise the player numbers fall off like they do. Such a shame when underneath all this crap is a damn good game!

Patience, you’ll need a lot of it.
