Some tracks give me lag and some are perfectly fine. I don't experience much lag but it's enough to screw with my run and make me restart. I did one simple modification and now I don't get lag while I use this tweak. Turn airplane mode on. Disable all communications your phone is sending and receiving and just play the game. You'll see that the lag goes away since there's nothing for the game to connect to. Your times will still sync up when you connect again. Try it out...maybe it will help you too.
