Same problem. Just bought the software. Stuck at the unusable Create Profile screen.

I'm experiencing the same issue (e.g. keyboard and mouse do nothing), too. Can we assume the devs are looking into this problem? The game is unplayable at this time.

This worked for me, but I also had to make sure the System Preferences\Displays\Resolution was set to "Default for display". I initially had to change this to "Scaled" to get RS2104 to stop opening half-off screen and then set it back to "Default for display" to get the keyboard to work.

    Joy :-)

^ I can confirm that changing the Rocksmith.ini setting "fixes" the keyboard issue for me. I'm still facing some problems:

    1. Keyboard (wired USB and laptop) still not working on the "Search a Song" feature: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...ghlight=sierra
    2. Mouse is completely non-functional (Logitech MX Master w/Logitech software installed – non-negotiable)

I'm definitely watching this thread with great interest.

Tell me, Ubisoft.. if I bought Rocksmith 2014 remastered on Steam, how do I go from the Mac version to the Windows version? Buy another copy? That would be expensive and kinda sucky..!

Steam allows you to download games to multiple computers. You can actively play on only one at a time though.

Just reported this to Ubi myself.

If your mouse works fine in-game, another fix option is to click down to Tools/Options/Adv Display Settings/Windowed Mode, where you can toggle it to windowed to get the keyboard working. You should even be able to switch back to full screen straight after, where the keyboard will continue to work for that session only.

Doing this reveals an oddity. When RS 2014 Remastered is launched in full screen mode, the Windowed Mode setting shows it is in "Non-Exclusive" full screen mode, but when you change it, the full screen option offered is "Exclusive".

To be a little more explicit, you don't have to repurchase it. You use the same Steam account both on Mac and on Windows. All your DLC will transfer as well. I have personally found the windows version to work far better...even when running on the same exact Mac hardware through bootcamp.

    Good luck!
