When my buddies and me found the R5 RGP, we became excited for this sexy AR15-baby, as it offers great stats and design.
Then we had to hug each other and shed tears of despair, because - for whatever completely nonsensical reason - it is restricted to full-auto only.

Yes, yes "just press the trigger shortly".
Just no.
That's not the point, and I hope it must not be explained.

I'm with you. I'd use the R5 far more often if there was a semi/full auto trigger option for it.

Been asking for Semi-auto trigger pack for it since the Beta, it should have been resolved by now if you ask me. Small things like this or something like no suppressor for the 9mmC1/CZ Scorpion machine pistol should be fixed.

This game is missing a wide variety of different attachments for a bunch of weapons. I'm there with you guys - it doesn't make sense to limit this weapon to full auto for no clear reason.

I've actually pondered why exactly they decided to go with this choice and the only thing I can think of is to make it "different" from the other AR15 variants. Still is a bizarre choice regardless.

Seriously though I don't get why it doesn't have semi, unless they are trying to make it like an M27 IAR. I loved the R5, Using stolen Unidad ones for a long time. When I FINALLY unlocked it I was excited.

Until I replaced it with the AK12 shortly afterwards.

The full auto only wasn't bad. Trigger control helped bunches with "sniping" with it. The rate of fire isn't too high. A semi setting would be better.
