Won't argue with that...Originally Posted by Sabotur Go to original post
RIght? It seems strange to me that there are people actively wanting it to happen. I'm not even big on the ME/ MP component of the FC games but I'd never suggest they ditch them all together under the misguided idea that that'd somehow improve the part I do really enjoy...Originally Posted by GRAW2ROBZ Go to original post
I'd bet money a helluva lot more people than you think, but FC's MP is not even on the same level as CoD & CoD is a MP centric game whereas I wouldn't say FC is...Originally Posted by Sabotur Go to original post

How am I wrong when I never said a majority of players were getting CoD for the SP, just that there are probably more doing so than you'd think. You say players have avoided buying FC because MP has been crap recently, implying it was better earlier, and I'd wager that's in reference to FC2. However, FC3 outsold FC2 3:1 and FC4 sold even better than 3, so... I don't know how well those claims hold up, somethin' to think about..Originally Posted by Sabotur Go to original post
Looks as though I was mistaken and 4 sold less than 3 actually, but 3 still handily outsold 2, and even with 4 selling less than 3 it still outsold 2 so.... I had gone off info someone else posted here a while back saying 4 sold slightly better than 3 but I guess they hadn't done the due diligence, my bad. Point still stands though. To me it seems fairly obvious Ubi focuses more on the SP in these games because I'm sure the metrics they're getting indicates thats where the majority of user engagement is coming from. They'd probably put more focus on MP if more people played it, but fact of the matter seems to be that with it not being at the same quality level as MP focused games like CoD, it's never going to see that level of interest, nor should it be expected to.
