Since Nobushi isn't strong at all, it's fine as it is.

It only does so much damage because you're most likely bleeding whenever it hits you, which gives it extra damage against you. Most nobushi will aim to do whatever chip damage they can to you whenever you're bleeding, and the zone attack is a very good one to use.

Isn't strong at all, ahahaha what a comedian. Clearly you haven't seen a Nobushi player who knows what they are doing. Or perhaps you are a Nobushi main, and have that bias for her because you don't wanna see you're favourite nerfed deservedly.

I doubt you know what you're talking about.

Sry, but need to agree with OP and Lawbro.
Nobushi is really strong, her dmg and her speed are top, but good nobushis are rare.

    As an example:
    Nobushis Zone attack
First zone attack = 33 dmg
Second attack gets canceled most of the time.
So if she hits a bleeding enemy = +20% dmg
    33*120% = 39,6 ~ 40 dmg and the speed of the first Zone attack = 600 ms
    In compare:
Warlords light attacks: speed 600ms and 15 dmg

Also, Nobushi has a 72 dmg OOS punish.

Nobushi is only OP if she unlcoks. otherwise her bleed effect is her main damage and not the moves it selfs. if she has no bleed damage she will be just like orochi.

Please tell me you're joking. It's literally one of the only attacks Nobushi has that is worth a damn. Literally every single light we have is a free parry. Feinting lights with hidden stance doesn't help any because it takes too long to get into hidden stance. Nobushi's heavies are slow and very well telegraphed. Her recovery times are long as **** unless you dodge after an attack. What this means is that Nobushi is at almost all times vulnerable to guard breaks since A) Her lights are too risky, B) Hidden Stance does nothing regarding guard breaks C) She has to dodge to get out of recovery frames (which leaves her vulnerable to guard breaks) and D) If she doesn't dodge the enemy gets a free guard break. Not only is she always vulnerable, but unless you dodge a randomly thrown heavy with hidden stance, you will never get your bleed on the target. Her kick is slow and easy to react to, and pretty much guarantees a guard break if dodged. Nothing is safe as Nobushi, and she has no mixup potential considering her only safe attacks are dodge attacks that can't be feinted.
Try playing Nobushi before you claim she's OP because of her damage on one of her only viable attacks.

Try playing against any half decent nobushi in a real 2v2 and you'll understand why. They do nothing but unlock zones that you can't parry, half the time you can't block it, and it does a large amount of damage. You literally cannot win without getting lucky against it. People do this in 4v4 as well.

Her zone itself isn't way too bad, it's strong enough to deal some serious damage especially to bleeding targets, but not insta kill someone without it.

The problem is in unlock tech, which should be fixed tomorrow with the new season. We'll see if it holds true. Fingers crossed. After watching the Hero Series and the amount of "high level play" these players are doing with all their unlock tech and cheese spam, I'm hoping the techs are gone and soon those cheeses will be brought down.
