yeah lol its not an open world, its more like everything is at sea and nothing on islands...their key focus is only naval stuff which is really not good because their focus should rather be on everything in this game and the whole world, not only on ONE thing....I am very disappointed to be honest cause when I saw the trailer I thought there was finally gonna be an open world pirate RPG with lots of things to do like in black flag but they are working on another naval mmo instead...

We get the point! You don’t like this game that’s not even been released yet.

I’m looking forward to it. If I get to walk around islands, have sword fights, etc... I might as well also get the assassins hidden dagger.

All you want is assassins creed black flag, then go play it.

no, all I want is a pirate game! and this is not a pirate game, it is just another naval mmo! majority wants a pirate game in an open world with both single and multiplayer! not another naval mmo! get it already! I wont go back to black flag because that game doesnt have a multiplayer open world! so it got boring after completing the story and having 50 hours on it

Let's face it, it's a pirate MMO with ships only. The level of details it looks like Ubisoft are creating won't work with what you're wanting. The processing power just won't be there and it technically can't work with the timescale we've got. If there's a lot longer then it could be possible to get the very open world that you're wanting.

They've never really said that you'll be able to run around on an island and have sword fights. You've just interpreted what they've said to something you're not going to get.

I say, let ubisoft get on with making a potential great game. It's only black flag I've plaid with this type of game play.

If Skull & Bones sold 100 copies, that's still a majority over the 20 Youtube comments you posted that wants the game. And I can promise you, Ubisoft is expecting Skull & Bones to sell tens of thousands, if not over 100,000 copies. Are you willing to go find 50,001 Youtube comments of people saying they won't buy Skull & Bones because it's not open world in the way you want?

Here's another counterpoint you're not considering; People who do want an open world pirate multiplayer game might just take their business elsewhere, to places like Blackwake or Sea of Thieves. They might not be as picky as you are about which games are pirate enough.

You're also ignoring the playerbases of current naval, or historic fighting games, like World of Warships, Naval Action and War Thunder, who might just buy Skull & Bones to try something new.
Of course there's also just Black Flag fans who want more of the sailing stuff.

Skull & Bones is not the game for you, and no amount of Youtube comments can force it to be something you want it to be. Either accept it, restrict your feedback to something realistic, or just move on.

its not gonna be a great game, its gonna be a bad game! and so is it gonna be to the majority! if they cant do open world, then they might as well just stop working on this game and completely cancel it since they got so many negative feedbacks about skull and bones!

yeah I posted 20 but there are a lot more comments like those! and those comments had a tons of likes, you know? there are also some negative threads about skull and bones here on the forums, you just gotta go back to page 1! am not picky, am just saying that we already have naval mmo's and an open world pirate game would do a lot better! those "100.000" copies will buy the game and then they will get bored fast and just leave it!

because the majority doesnt trust ubisoft anymore since they have messed up many games in the past until now! oh and there are still a lot of people who like skull and bones because they dont know that its gonna be a naval game! they think its gonna be an open world pirate game like black flag which is the reason many people are still hyped for skull and bones but wait until they see the TRUTH about skull and bones!

and you said there would still be people buying this game and trying it but people like THAT are the reason why game companies dont put much effort into their games anymore! especially ubisoft!

I remember when it was the developers that made the games and not the players.

End of the day, it’s Ubisoft that’ll have the final say and I’m happy with that.

yes, you and few other people...but the majority is not happy with it at all! I know its their game but what is the point in making a game like THIS?! especially when the majority pretty much disagrees with it and they still invest money on this? weird
