Although I don't have any links, it's my understanding that there will be PVP zones while a signifigant portion will be PVE.Originally Posted by Nakorbc Go to original post
Oh that’s correct I’d also quit. I play a lot of warships and honestly I have to breaks. It becomes to much. I’m making my above comments with full knowledge that there’s a large PvE element to this title. I was just saying the pvp element is very doable within this context.Originally Posted by flynlion Go to original post
Why bother with trust, if you can prove and validate your claim? Show us how, when and why Youtube comments have had, in your words, a "huge" impact on games.Originally Posted by DeeK_KayE Go to original post

Agree, plenty of room for both in an age of sail type pirate gameOriginally Posted by Nakorbc Go to original post![]()
I have my concerns, a similar idea was proposed for Naval Action and the PVE only guys had a conniption over it. So they ended up with 2 servers one for PVE only( barely 100 on at any time) and the PVP server.Originally Posted by flynlion Go to original post
It really depends on how the balance between PVE/PVP is maintained and how large an area each type of player is given. If it's 90/10 favoring either side the other will be livid.
Naval action had a lot of problems. I bought in for alpha. I lead the French side of sea lords with one other. That game has loads of issues. Many years in development and it’s still in a beta format and hasn’t a poor UI and HUD. I think if a lot of the PvE and PvP issues there had a lot more to do with the how then the why. What broke the game was the developers in ability to bring the 2 communities together and pull its community together to find solutions. From what I’ve seen from Ubisoft in the past and what I’ve learned about this particular title is thy are taking the communities input seriously and listens. Let see what they present at E3 this year before judgement is passed on whether they will NA this title into the ground or have it be the essential pirate title. I personally have faith in their vision.Originally Posted by Ruthless4u Go to original post
Total BS : Blackbeard regularly boarded other ships and fell before Maynard in duel which went wild since some Maynard's sailors participated to help him, Blackbeard finally died from 25 various kind of wounds and 5 shoots... He were an seasonned fighter freakingly hard to kill.Originally Posted by Kherix Go to original post
Also, not pretending the op is right in his demands, but there are many other famous historical pirates and privateers who totally build their legends in boarding to capture ships, sometimes bigger ships to steal them though being dramatically outnumbered, ex : Roberts, Surcouf, and many others.
The devs for NA have no real clue what type of game they want to make, which is a dam shame because the way the ships look and combat is top notch. They just have no idea how to make the economy, Rvr, port battles, or basically any other aspect come together. They even tried ( briefly ) to make NA legends which they screwed that by keeping the beta population too small so they canned that.Originally Posted by Vendow. Go to original post
