    Dead or Alive

I've thought for some time - shall I start this new thread or may be write it in "suggestions" thread and decided to start. So if you, moderators, think that this is not significant you can remove this thread without mercy.....Let's discuss such thing as multi - endings! When the game has many variations of ending. I'll tell you one may be unpopular thing. When there are two variations of ending - 1) hero dies or 2) hero remains alive - it is bad. Two mutual exclusive senses in the end is not good. Beacause the author's intention is not clear. Either we dying in the game or not. What author wanted to say?! Picture is not clear. And it is very important for us. It is very important for a game itself. Just imagine if Titanic had two endings! One was Happy End, for example. Di Caprio didn't drown.....he was saved......and so on......I think in this case, all the beauty of the movie would be lost! The beauty of "Titanic" in its tragedy. So many other movies - "Brave Heart", for example. We can't imagine double interpretation! Double interpretation will kill these pieces of art. So in the game. If hero dies - he dies, if hero remains alive - he lives. And it is important. I think it should be no 2 possible endings - when hero either dies or not. And friends.....Marston dies........

Developers of some games are afraid of "lethal outcome" for their hero and deliberately make next "happy ending" in case of the possibility to continue the game. "May be sequel will follow, who knows?! It would be better not to kill the protaganist" But every FarCry game is a new story with a new hero......More ground not to afraid "lethal outcome"

Even more......I think "FarCry3" with one ending, Bad ending, would be better for the game. (But Citra let Jason's friends go home.... in return for that he will stay) This bad ending would make the game more tragic.....more juicy. As The Witcher3 bad ending was the most atmosheric, when all those bestias were running towards him. We should not afraid of bad endings in the game....Time of " "required Happy End" has passed.

I think in the future every gamer will have its own ending. Game will just generate itself. People will be able to play one game all their life. And games will be close to reality. Game will be reality itself but virtual. The same space.....like in real life. Everything will be taken into consideration: our body, physical abilities, even our heart beating. We will be able to talk to every personage in the game. Not asking and answering possible variations but have a real discussion. There will be passive variant of the game (like we are playing today, sitting on the sofa or sitting at a pc) and active variant (when we are active - it will be something like room or may be costume, you are puting it on, entering some kind of room and feeling everything physically - you are running ( it immitates running, your legs are moving and you are spending calories). If in the game you are jumping, swimming, shooting, fighting in the room you will also jumping, swimming, shooting and fighting - physically. Total immitation of reality - virtual + physical. In the future "virtual reality" will be total virtual reality. Even some kind of mental diseases will happen because of that.

May be I don't understand something.....but what was that 15 minute ending in FarCry4? What does it mean? For what purpose it was made? "Look how creative we are"? Creativeness must have sense!

Are you referring to the possible ending where the player waits at the beginning and can beat the game without doing anything?

Thank you, for answer! But how many gamers were waiting at the beginning?

I always saw this as more of an easter egg, just something interesting to find in the game. I've always wondered if someone happened upon this accidentally by going to the bathroom while playing.

It would be interesting to have statistics! But what will you feel if no one happened upon this accidentally by going to the bathroom?

I'd actually be really interested to hear how players discovered this (apart from hearing about it second hand on Youtube or something)
