I know I've seen it suggested that the top heavy finisher be made unblockable, but instead how about a stun effect added to certain top lights? Being slower, it's mostly blocked but sometimes catches people off guard. Maybe this could be a useful tool to add to the relatively small kit.
Conditions for stun:
- Top light with hyperarmor (chained or forward dash + light)
- Any heavy soft feinted into top light (would be a "new" featiure" , too much like Raider?)
- From neutral? I was thinking no.
With the PTS2 changes, it's hard to say where any of there classes will be, tho Zerker looks like it could be stronger and wouldn't need much adjusting. Bug-fixing for sure.
This goes along with another idea I had, to soft feint the spin chop into a top light. This top light would also have the stun effect.
I saw a short GIF a long time ago of a spin chop coming down from the top. It was showing off the light soft feints into dodge attacks, but looks like the ability to spin chop from the top is gone. Adding it back as a soft feint would be a great mixup tool and add some reactibility to an easily parried move (I think the GIF is in an old stickied guide around here somewhere).
