I was having the same issue. My problem was due to having the latest win 10 preview build installed as soon as uninstalled it I had no issues. the preview build will have a notification above your date on the bottom right hand side of your desktop. I hope this solve your issues.

Thank you all for sharing your specs. Is everyone here getting the same issue of the splash screen popping up and then nothing happening after, or are some receiving specific error codes?

While some have attempted the steps listed in our PC troubleshooting FAQ, I ask they everyone who has not to please give the suggestions a shot. Also, please do reach out to our team of dedicated technicians so they can take a closer at each case on an individual level. Thanks!

    Insider Preview OS Build 16257.1

i also have Windows Insider Preview OS Build 16257.1 does not work but if i roll back to OS Build 16232 then it plays update back to 16257.1 then it no longer works so its more than likely something they changed in this build as i can turn it on and off based on having that update being the only difference.

Same issue as many others. Start game, small splash image shows up for a second or two then disappears. Nothing in Windows event logs or any error messages displayed. Insider build 16297.rs3_release.170728-1700. I was able to roll back once, but it's forced an update and I'm unable to roll back again. Opted out of the Insider program altogether now since this isn't the first game-breaking issue I've had with half-baked builds.
